I've built three of these shelves now. The first one was flawless, second had some alignment issues and I ended up having to drill the frame a bit to make it fit. Third one... Nothing lines up right, wire racks all fit like crap, seems like QC went out the window.

I bought 5 of these. 4 of the boxes looked a little roughed up but I brought them home as they were already loaded on my truck by the time I saw them. I bought them online for curb side pick up. They’re way too heavy to take in and out. So I let it be. I get home and unloaded. I have a friend of mine helping unload and put them together. 4 of the 5 shelves were bent. It took forever to put them together and it wasn’t easy as parts were bent and twisted. If they weren’t so heavy and bulky I would’ve taken them back. Once they were put together and functional they’re great. Perfect size to put in my basement to try and organize items. I’ve bought these before and didn’t have the problems I had with this last purchase. Lesson learned… if boxes are roughed up someone from the store can switch them out before going home. I paid too much to struggle putting these together.

Product is nice and will would have worked well in my garage, however just like some other reviews there was hidden damage to the metal frame in the box. It was unsafe to use to its maximum weight capacity. Sam’s customer service tried to help get a replacement part but none was available. Received a complete refund. Did not purchase again.

I purchase two of these a few years ago and I needed one more.I bought one,took it home,and after I opened it I immediately noticed the base of the frame was welded so poorly,out of square(by almost 45 degrees,no exaggeration),and pushed into the groove of the frame that there was no way the shelves would fit . Anyways,took that back to the store,I went to get a replacement,same thing. I opened the third box ,guess what.. At that point the manager said that they won’t allow me to open more boxes(I totally understood),but I decided to get one regardless,I am a handy man and have a lot of tool and I figured I can break the welds and put it back together after I straighten the frame. I remember how fast and easy was the installation of the first two. This unit took almost two hours to install,I did not have to weld it back again ,but I used heavy duty clamps as spreaders to correct the extremely poor job done by someone that looks like has no idea of what they’re doing. Lack of quality control is what bothers me the most, I didn’t even mind paying the “new “price of $199, both other units were $149. I didn’t expect and increase in quality with the increase in price,but at least keep it the same!

It's good. It's not as heavy as I initially thought, so I would probably not suggest this rack if it isn't against a wall. The instruction manual doesn't show the exact same number of slots used for customizing shelf heights, perhaps off by 1 or 2. So just keep that in mind when assembling. Still definitely recommend this for the price I paid. I wanted to keep within a budget and it's only used to store totes in my basement, so this rack made sense for me. If I didn't have a budget or if I was using this to store heavy equipment in my garage I would look for something more heavy duty and sturdy.

Love these shelves, I am finishing out my garage and need a nice shelf to compliment the floor and walls. These are very easy to install, they hold a so much weight, they have a great finish on them and they make the space amazingly efficient. I was able to pick these up curb side and set them up by myself no problem.

So SO Easy to assemble. Love it. Bought 2 then 2 more. Gonna buy 2 more. I saved the cardboard from each box and cut out 2 pieces large enough to line 2 of the shelves on each rack. My husband was going to cut some pieces of plywood, but the cardboard is good enough. A few of the pieces were misshapen with manufacture errors, but I could make them securely fastened anyway

flimsy rails... pins to connect the cross braces.. sams is using a different brand than they have in the past and it is definitley a down grade...get the gladiator unit... thats what sams used to carry.. ive bought atleast 5 of those units and they are great... go together easily and are sturdy... the members mark is a no no.. trust me-- i never rate products but after spending an hour putting this mess together i felt lead to help someone else... Sams -- if you read this---spend the money and go back to gladiator-- im sure it will need to sell for a little more but it is worth the money... your creating some angry customers this -not well thought out - product!!!

Easy to put together. Very sturdy, perfect size for my garage so I bought two of them. Comes with plates on the bottom if you want to add Wheels. I bought my wheels off of Amazon fit perfect. Overall for what I spent on it was a very, very good deal, I’m very impressed. I’ve had friends come over and they’re very impressed and jealous.. Would most definitely recommend anybody who needs shelving in their garage in their basement or any other place that these things fit I would definitely go with these.

One of the pillars was broken, called Members mark phone number and they’re an absolute nightmare to work with. I have never come across customer service this horrible. I called 5 times and they would just hang up on you without answering any questions and refused to provide their name. There’s 0 accountability, i called Sam’s club and they transferred me back to members mark customer service. Don’t waste you $$ buying members mark products because if it’s not working good luck reaching anyone to resolve your issue. Wish i would have recorded the phone call. Had to take the broken pillar back to Sam’s and the manager was nice enough to get it replaced. Once setup it works as intended, setup took about 30 mins. Top holes did not line up properly so had to use the hammer and a towel
