I have a 2008 335xi e90 with staggard style 162 18" wheels and the best thing I could have done is to ditch the RFTs (Now when I go over uneven roads or potholes.. its no longer a teeth jarring ride)!!!! I actually wanted to get the MPSS (Super sports) but I need this tire to handle the NJ winter months as well for daily driving (Which means I can't use the dedicated summer MPSS). It handled really well in Wet/Dry situations for Oct/Nov, recently we had a large amount of snow and I was able to easily drive up and down the NJ GSP before they plowed the roads. I was able to move across lanes with easy @ 50 MPH in unplowed snow!!!! Today we had a huge amount of rain and I was able to feel very comfortable at speed (everyone around me was driving way too slow but I was easily able to get around them and make good distance). These are by far the best tires I have ever used!!!

The most responding tire ( a previous Z rated by another manufacturer was wormy and way less direct in comparison). These track superbly. By far less road noise too. The ever so slight firmer city ride is by far outweighed by the safety factor in direct response, highway smoothness. Side walls are firm, I had to replace a previous manufacturer's several times due to bubbling. Even the tire installer said that he felt a huge difference in the side wall thickness to old ones that were Z-rated. I am dying to try them in the snow and wet as I read they are top rated there too. Add long lasting to the mix and you can't beat them. Great Tire.

I have much all weather experience driving in Maryland and I am not an aggressive driver but I do like the feel of a sportier tire and do like to throw the car through turns for fun. I previously had two sets of Conti DWS. The DWS do everything pretty well including snow. But, they offer little excitement. I didn't realize this until I got the Michelin Sport A/S 3. The A/S 3 is a very responsive tire than handles incredibly well in dry or wet. The only down side to the tires that I have found is snow traction where they fell short. My A/S 3's are well into the wear indicators and still handle great even in wet. A/S 3+ here I come!

The first 100km I agree that the tires felt slippery... I think it has to do with the compound they put on them from the factory. I was questioning whether or not I made the right choice. After a break in period, I cannot break loose my 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD on a tight corner. I lose tailgaters on the tight corners and it is a lot of fun doing i!

Car 2013 Lexus GS350 RWD Bought the Pilot A/S 3's when the car had 41,300 miles, Just replaced them at 102,031 Miles. WOW...! I drive 55-60K miles/yr mostly on the interstate in the South and I'm not a hard driver, but from time to time I like to drop the hammer on the GS when I get on a windy country road or up in the Smokey Mountains. I've also do a little Autocrossing and the car is a hoot to drive hard. My gas mileage is right at 29 MPG with about 85% highway miles and I average 74 MPH on the interstate. I do hear a bit of road noise, but it's OK for a sports sedan, even a Lexus. I balance them regularly and align them if needed.

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's are the best handling all season sport tires on the market. Autoweek magazine issues September 2nd, 2013 and issue September 16th, 2013 go into more detail on testing against other top performance summer tires and all-season tires. Autoweek advisors tested the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on a dry autocross course beating out top performance summer tires with more dry grip. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's also tested quicker than competitive tires and the best for wet and dry braking distances.

I drove a Nissan Maxima 2011 and had always ran BF's until my tire shop recommended the Pilot based on my driving habits. Well it was like a new car the way it handled especially in the rain. I went out the same week and put Michelin's on my wife's Ford Escape and she even noticed the difference. Great tire. I just bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima an what a fun car it drive except for 4 things, the tires! They have Continentals and what horrible tires, slips in rain and spins easily and just no confidence. Hard to get rid of new tires but the minute I can afford it she will get new Michelin Pilots so I can drive this car to capabilities. Good job

Awesome tire in terms of cornering and braking, and they are UNBELIEVABLE in the rain - hopeful they perform as well in Minnesota winters. My primary issue with the tires are that they grab every imperfection in the roadway and track so the amount of steering correction isn't always fun to manage. I also had to have them re-balanced and still have some minor vibration through the steering wheel and chassis. The retailer advises the balancing was only off by 1/4 oz on one wheel and slightly more on another and run-out was well within spec, but I still am annoyed by the vibration since the previous OEM tires rode so well. I sure hope they smooth out or it will be a love/hate relationship to 45,000 miles.

I had read reviews of the back to back comparisons that Michelin did in identical cars late last year with these tires and those of competitors-the reviews. I had to wait for over a month after ordering the tires as they were just being released-I'm happy to report that the wait was totally worth it. These tires have a great balance of comfort (low noise, and smooth) combined with excellent feedback and cornering grip in all conditions. My friend asked if I was even going to put snow tires on this year-not sure I will go that far but may delay just to see how these do. I've already recommended these to several other people, I am very pleased and the treadwear durability expected should outshine the prior competitor tires that were on my BMW 335d M-Sport.

I own a 2006 Lexus GS430 with 18s, 245/40/18. 95% of my miles are highway miles. I had been running Pilot Sport A/S Plus for the past few years. I had about 45,000 miles on the tires, so it was time to replace them. The natural choice was the new Pilot Sport A/S 3. I've had the new tires on the car for about 10 days and 500 miles, and here are my observations. The handling is excellent. Cornering, steering response/feel and road feel are all great. The great handling, however, comes at a price. Whereas the ride of the A/S Plus was firm yet compliant and forgiving, I find the ride of the A/S 3 overly firm, borderline harsh. Also, the A/S 3 seems to be much louder on the highway than the A/S Plus tires I replaced (which, like I said, had 45k miles on them when I took them off). I have the tires filled to 32 psi (just like my previous tires), so it's not the pressure. I think it might have something to do with the load rating. The load rating on the A/S 3 is 97y. The load rating on the A/S Plus was 93. I'm not a tire expert/aficionado by any means, but I'm wondering whether the increased load rating could make that much of a difference or whether the increased noise/harshness is due to something else. I am still within the 30-day return window, but I'm not sure what other options I have (other than going back to the A/S Plus, which, based on everything I've read, would seem to be a step in the wrong direction). In sum, while the A/S 3 really do make the car handle like it's on rails, in my opinion, they are not as comfortable or quiet as the A/S Plus I replaced. I'm sure many others made the switch from the A/S Plus to the A/S 3, and I'm wondering whether any one else has experienced the same thing.
