Not up to par

I own a 2009 Bullitt Mustang and enjoy a spirited drive... read I do NOT thrash the car around. I purchased 4 new tires. For tires that claim to be "Ultra High Performance" in my opinion they are not even close. They feel like 6 year old tires. I wish I had more driving time within the first 30 days to return them. I did not... now I am stuck with them. If I had the money I would replace them now. For this car these tires do not live up to their name. Very disappointed.

All Michelin Family

I love Michelin tires. I have them on all the cars in the family, including a new used car for my daughter. A few times, I have tried other tires and regretted it and went back to Michelins. Today's high tech cars often require a great tire to function properly, like my Volvo and my Nissan Maxima do not drive as they were designed to drive on those lower grade tires, they just don't drive or wear well on other tires. I have always found that the Michelin design and warranty is always the best balance of value/safety/performance.

Pilot Sport A/S 3 great first impression

Had 225x50 R18 Pilot Sport A/S 3's fitted to my Infiniti G35XS two months ago. Great improvement over the OEM tires - very responsive in dry conditions, sure footed in the wet with a smooth and quiet ride also. Price was very reasonable compared with competitive tires in this size. Definitely happy with my purchase so far - we'll see how they perform when the snow arrives.

Replaced Run-Flats

Replaced the run-flats on my BMW 135i with the A/S 3's two days ago. The car has been transformed. The tire is quiet, and has improved the ride quality and handling of the car. Assorted rattles and squeaks which drove me crazy from the first day with the car are now gone. Even my wife noticed the difference. I can not say enough good things about these tires.

Awesome Ride!!

I have had these tires for about a week now. They are on a 2012 Dodge Avenger. These tires offer great handling in wet weather, awesome dry handling. I can't really speak for snow just yet. I love the way they feel on the road. Great tire!! will definately be buying these again for my other car.

Pilot Sport A/S 3 Happiness

Living in an area with some winter weather (snow and ice) I prefer an A/S tire vs a maximum performance tire. As usual, Michelin did not let me down. While I don't track the car I do drive fast. I recently was timed at 152 mph and the car felt stable and responsive. There was more speed left but I chickened out. Tires always felt stable, were reasonably quiet, and wear better than expected. Driving a 500 HP AMG, I expected to get about 10,000 miles out of the rears. I am now at 10,000 miles and I SAFELY have 5-10,000 miles left on them.

Wear and Noise Issues

if you only have a few thousand miles on these tires you should wait to review; handling is as promised, sharp and great grip. Ride was rough from day one on my Infiniti g37X. Drove them through the winter and now have 23K miles. Wear on shoulder of all 4 is bad, and getting a wap wap sound from one tire. Rotated in Sept. and treadwear is significant. ALL tires should last more then 22K miles unless they're for racing. Extremely disappointed that they are so noisy, rough, and un-durable. Tire care was always performed when due and psi checked regularly. Some spirited driving (how much spirited driving can you do in the winter!)

not even close to 45K miles

I purchased these tires since they are the only low profile speed rated tires on the market with a mileage warranty. I barely have 30K miles on the tires - rear tires are at 3/32 and front tires are at 4/32 - basically worn out. Tire wear is even on all 4 tires. I take good care of the tires - B&R every 6K miles(side to side since F&R are different sizes), alignment min 1 per year and maintain air pressure. I've been extremely gentle with these tires since they cost big bucks and I wanted them to last. I really liked the tires until now. They don't grip as well as summer tires in the curves but I was willing to make that trade if I could get better mileage...OEM were competitor summer tires - got 36K miles before replacing. Ride comfort is very good, low noise; didn't see any difference in fuel mileage between OEM and these tires. I would have given these tires an A+ if I would have written the review shortly after I bought them but with only 30K miles on them, they did not last as long as I expected.

Long lasting and sporty 60,700 miles

Car 2013 Lexus GS350 RWD Bought the Pilot A/S 3's when the car had 41,300 miles, Just replaced them at 102,031 Miles. WOW...! I drive 55-60K miles/yr mostly on the interstate in the South and I'm not a hard driver, but from time to time I like to drop the hammer on the GS when I get on a windy country road or up in the Smokey Mountains. I've also do a little Autocrossing and the car is a hoot to drive hard. My gas mileage is right at 29 MPG with about 85% highway miles and I average 74 MPH on the interstate. I do hear a bit of road noise, but it's OK for a sports sedan, even a Lexus. I balance them regularly and align them if needed.

Mercedes S500 2002, Sport

I bought the Michelin Pilot A/S Sport 3 in March of 2015 for the rear of the S500 Sport Pkg with 212843 miles. The ride at first was very smooth and comfortable (that's the reason I have stayed with Michelin) but @ 219183 miles the rears are bald, rough riding & cupping - tire centers will not balance the tires saying they are to far gone. I am in Southern Ca. I am extremely disappointed with Michelin for this product, Michelin has been my tire of choice for decades but this speaks to quality- I hope to hear from Michelin - again excellent initial tire for this car but the mileage is horrible. I hope Michelin can correct this issue. Unhappy
