Purchased set for daughter's Jetta Sportwagen 2.5 last month & was impressed. Just put a set on my Jetta TDI Sportwagen and am very impressed. Ride is much smoother than with OE tires, and it is quieter. Car now also corners much better--much better. Braking is superb! Will follow up after several thousand miles.

Wife and I have 3 cars and work from home. I mostly drive my Tacoma and she primarily drives our Lexus RX. Our 3rd car for very occasional local use is a 92 Lexus SC400. Today I took it in for an annual inspection and the treads are just about gone so we have to get replacements. I looked at my scanned receipts I always keep and we bought these tires in January of 2016. We don't take this car on long trips - just around town. It's one of these fair weather cars and we don't take it out of it's raining or snowing. We barely got 9000 miles on these ! Very disappointed. We also keep this car aligned. Replaced OEM runflats on my Mini S. The improvement in ride and handling was dramatic. It would have been hard to convince me that the Mini could handle any better than it already did but these tires hold like they are glued to the road. Wet handling is also outstanding. There has also been a significant improvement in ride quality. The OEM tires (high-end name brand) were harsh at best. These tires although firm to not transmit nearly as much shock through the car. They were difficult to find but well worth the effort.

I purchased my first set of Michelins for my 1968 MGB. Since then, there have been multiple sets for many different cars I have owned. I have always been very satisfied. Multiple times my car purchases have arrived with other manufacturers' tires. It is always a happy day for me when I install my first set of Michelins on that particular car. Keep up the good work!

I own a 2006 Lexus GS430 with 18s, 245/40/18. 95% of my miles are highway miles. I had been running Pilot Sport A/S Plus for the past few years. I had about 45,000 miles on the tires, so it was time to replace them. The natural choice was the new Pilot Sport A/S 3. I've had the new tires on the car for about 10 days and 500 miles, and here are my observations. The handling is excellent. Cornering, steering response/feel and road feel are all great. The great handling, however, comes at a price. Whereas the ride of the A/S Plus was firm yet compliant and forgiving, I find the ride of the A/S 3 overly firm, borderline harsh. Also, the A/S 3 seems to be much louder on the highway than the A/S Plus tires I replaced (which, like I said, had 45k miles on them when I took them off). I have the tires filled to 32 psi (just like my previous tires), so it's not the pressure. I think it might have something to do with the load rating. The load rating on the A/S 3 is 97y. The load rating on the A/S Plus was 93. I'm not a tire expert/aficionado by any means, but I'm wondering whether the increased load rating could make that much of a difference or whether the increased noise/harshness is due to something else. I am still within the 30-day return window, but I'm not sure what other options I have (other than going back to the A/S Plus, which, based on everything I've read, would seem to be a step in the wrong direction). In sum, while the A/S 3 really do make the car handle like it's on rails, in my opinion, they are not as comfortable or quiet as the A/S Plus I replaced. I'm sure many others made the switch from the A/S Plus to the A/S 3, and I'm wondering whether any one else has experienced the same thing.

Use these as summer tires only. They wear very well. They are nosier than my winter tires, also the dealer I bought them from used nitrogen, when I check my air pressure and have to add air I do not have nitrogen. I was told that is O.K. but seems no one knows for sure. Also had a flat so I have three tires with nitrogen and one with out, is this O.K.?

I've had these tires on for 3 weeks now and have noticed a great improvement in traction and ride quality. The stock HX MXM4 tires that came with my 2011 altima coupe were awful in the rain, mind you they still had significant thread left. My car is lowered on eibach springs making bad roads a pain to drive in. As soon as I first drove in the A/S 3's, I could feel an improvement in comfort. I drive an average of 18 miles everyday mostly at 30-50 mph. Overall these tires have improved my driving experience.

I have just purchased and installed these beauties on my C7 Corvette Z51. Awesome performance in light snow and icy conditions! I researched tires extensively looking for a cold climate tire for my new Corvette and wnet with the new Pilot Sport A/S 3's all around! This morning before getting the tires, it took 4 attempts to get up my 8% grade driveway on light snowy/icy conditions! Now the Corvette goes right up - no problems! I may just run them all 4 seasons - they are that good!

We were looking for new high performance all-season tires and these were just right. We had original run-flats on our BMW 135i. These Pilot A/S 3's grip and handle the road well. They cushion your ride (especially well if you are used to the run-flats). What a difference these tires make. Obviously buy a can of fix a flat just in case you own this car because you have no spare and no run-flats anymore. We love the tires and would definitely recommend them.

I've got a 2003 BMW Performance ZHP 330i with factory staggered 18" wheels, and I've been running the Michelin A/S2 tires. Since I can't rotate them, I'll run 2 sets on the rear to 1 set on the front. I was very pleased with these tires and have a video of me driving through 10" of new snow with the front scoop pushing snow over the hood! Only a 2-wheel drive car! Now, I've just bought a set of AS3 tires, and I really like them. They seem quieter than the AS2s and handle just amazing. And for a low-profile tire (255/35-18) they are very comfortable riding. My goal is to have 1 set of tires that I can run in all 4 seasons, here in Colorado. The AS3s are going to fit that bill nicely. So far, I've only been able to test them on dry interstate, and hardpack snow/ice on side roads. Amazing traction! There really is no reason to run dedicated snow tires as these will take me through anything my car can reasonable drive through. A good test of all driving conditions is from I-70, then Hwy40 to Winter Park, which takes you through many switchbacks, over Berthoud Pass. Patchy ice/snow and dry roads, sharp corners, and downhill braking test all the capabilities of these new AS3s. They really do work that well! Thanks, Michelin!
