The Defender LTX M/S2 tire has gotten me across the country, literally. It flawlessly handles snow, rain, mud, sand, gravel, asphalt, and everything in between, without compromising the quality and comfort of the ride. The noise is nonexistent in the cab of the SUV, even at high speeds.

We took them out in the rain, and had no problems. Haven’t had them long enough to inspect any tread-related issues, but confident the tread will hold up over time based on the quality material construction. .

The Michelin Defender had everything I was looking for in a set of new wheels. The tires are very well made, strong and sturdy and most importantly, they make me feel safe on the road. These tires provide a smooth ride on the highway and are rugged enough for our back country roads. The tread wear life is impressive and I feel for the life and wear and tear of these tires, that they are a good investment. I like the deep tread pattern and noticed during the rainstorm that the tires gripped the road and they are weather proofed very well. I felt safe during all of my recent commutes.

I have a company with 2 trucks and for 10 years I have only used Michelin tires, in their facilities they have the best customer service, they are fast and thorough with every detail. I put these Defenders on my Thoe, I love the stability it provides to my vehicle and the durability. I own a Chevrolet Suburban LT and this tires fit them perfectly, I can feel the difference while I’m driving if how these tires work on any terrain, specially on rainy days. The material is thick and the tires look powerful. I recommend them if you have a large truck!

They seem like they will be very durable long-term and I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for tires, as they seem perfect.

I just bought my second set of these. Pros: Smooth, quiet ride, tread wear was even but not premature Cons: From a stop to start acceleration on wet roads sometimes the rear tires spin, gravel trapping by the tires is annoying upon driving at higher speeds on highways and hearing rocks pelt the wheel wells.
