I had a different well known cleaner. It was bulky and heavy and quit putting out water. We also have a new puppy. Mistakes not caught. I thought we would have to replace carpet , I didn't think anything would clean it. I used my new Bissell the day after I bought it. I just stood and said "no way". I have no evidence of having a puppy. He is learning to go outside but things happen, and I'll be ready. This machine makes me want to clean every room in the house.

This is replacement for a very old cleaner and it is much improved in terms of the water tanks' ease-of-use, and cleaning it when you're done. (Especially the little tool to clean out the intake.) The older one was awkward, and never really clean. I like how it has settings for more or less water spray, using less on things like thin area rugs. The old one was only used once in a while 'cause it was a hassle. I can see using this as part of more regular cleaning. Very pleased with my purchase and initial performance.

Love, love, love my pro heat 2 pet. My boxer is getting up their in age and consequently having more frequent accidents. Thank goodness for the cleaner and specific pet formula products. The carpets came out way better than what the professional cleaner I was having come in every 6 mts. was doing. Pre treating for spots has made them disappear completely and the smell, oh the wonderful smell of clean and fresh. I can't believe how well this system has worked. Can't wait to use the attachments for the upholstery. Did I mention that the cost of the proheat pet 2 was the same as just 1 professional cleaning? So worth the money!

The machine works great but whoever puts those sticky advertisments on the units plastic surfaces and tanks should take a second look at how tough the glue is to remove even with goo gone. It took over an hour trying not to damage the plastic surfaces.

Just purchased PRO HEAT 2x REVOLUTION last week. Absolutely love this machine. I have two mini schauzner's who apparent,y bring in half the backyard with them every time they go out. My new cleaner cleaned my carpets better than the professional companies I have been using. Would highly recommend this cleaner to anyone with or without pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems to work at least as well as my previous Bissell. I like the ability to change the "cleaning mode" setting for area rugs. It's also light to handle, and easy to manage the two water containers (clean and dirty). It is easy to thoroughly clean after use, which can be troublesome with pet hair.

This thing cleans so great and it's so easy to use, design is amazing. I got this because my Great Dane has explosive diarrhea all over our thick pile carpet. This cleaned it as if it wasn't even there. Have used it many times since, and I love it. Works great on upholstery as well with the attachments. Best carpet cleaner on the market.

I have used it twice and it does a great job on an old rug. The spots disappear from the carpet and it comes with an accessory bag where I keep the manuals and tools and hoses that come with it. The waste water and soap bins fit in easily and everything is easy to clean, thanks to the long tool they give you to clean it out. I could not be happier, it is easy to use which makes me eager to do it again.

I was shopping around for a new carpet cleaner, due to the fact that two of my daughters had just gotten two small dogs and they are loving to urinate on my living room carpet. I thought this product was amazing as I watching program on tv. I cleaned my carpets, told the girls we will put the furniture back when I get home from work. I don't know what happened, but I got home from work and the carpets smell worse then before I started. I cannot even stand to sit on my couch!!!! I should have known better. Guess I learned my lesson. I will probably have to pay for a commercial cleaning.
