I clean my personal home with this carpet cleaner. I am so amazed at the ease of use. So light weight and easy to fill and empty. Deep cleans and does an amazing job. BISSELL has come a long way from the last carpet cleaner I purchased from them that was also a great machine at that time. I'm so impressed I want to tell everyone. This is my third ProHeat model over the years. It does NOT heat the water. Very important feature since, without heater, solution left in the tank can not be used again. Cold solution is not as effective as hot solution. On the plus size, the re-engineered tanks are WAY better and it's about time they made one with a hose that does not need to be lugged around. It's basically the SpotClean Pro with about 10% more power.

It is fairly easy to clean if you follow the instructions and take time to do it. I am paranoid about moisture and mold so I made sure to clean the unit after each use and let it dry well before reassembling it. I am glad that I can get into those areas that pick up dog hair and particles that one might not notice before cleaning the soiled area.

I don't know if it's my carpet or the machine but I went through and vacuumed all my carpets before shampooing them and there were little balls of carpet fibers on the floor as I was cleaning them . This is the first time it has happened so I am still unsure about this machine and it also took a lot longer than a hour for my carpets to dry .

I'm like a kid in the candy store. When my Bissell arrived, I couldn't wait to take it out the box. It came with so much, and all the required attachments. I cleaned my living room carpet, and it's like night and day. My carpet is bright and it smells, and feels good. Next I'm going to do my furniture. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a senior dog with failing health. He had a few accidents he couldn't help. This shampooer deep cleaned the off white carpets thoroughly. I have cleaned our entire home with this and it has left the carpets amazingly clean, soft and fresh smelling. As stated, I am a senior and live in a tri level home with a finished basement. I like the built in handle to be able to carry the machine up and down the stairs with ease. The attachment for the stairs actually works! The carpeted stairs never looked better! One day we had a storm that dumped over 6" of rain in less than an hour. Our basement started to flood. I pulled out my Bissell carpet cleaner and sucked up the water until the entire floor was dry. I truly would be lost without this machine. Thank you Bissell for such a great product!

Bought this to replace my old unit that attached to the faucet, Had pet stains on my light carpet from my "grand dog" visiting. Bought the boost pet stain product to use, with it. Also used the sample cleaner that came with the unit Got out the stain, which had been there for a few months. Was able to clean the large room in less than one hour. Carpet looks like new. Was easy to put together and to use. Now, will try on the rest of the carpeting, in my other rooms.

I bought this piece of machinery based on a reference from a friend I never saw what their carpets looked like but they swore it was a good investment The product is phenomenal I was very pleased with the results The carpet is soft and very clean Quite extraordinary!!! Thank you!!!

This unit began its short life by cleaning very well. Leaves carpets wet even with slow dedicated repeated passes. Then suddenly after only one month the double rotating brushes stopped working. Machine runs, high pitched electric engines overwhelming my ears, no brushs, they don't spin. i hope that the warranty covers this, as unit is useless as is. Also both tanks MUST BE EMPTY for any storeage of unit. If you leave water/detergent in tank it will leak onto floor through the unit and you will have a giant wet spot to clean.

Everytime I use this machine, the pet hair or carpet fibers are left all over the carpet. The machine does not pick these up. It did not clean a coffee stain or a fruit punch stain from my carpet. There are a lot of parts that need to be cleaned after you use this every time. You have to disassemble and reassemble once the parts all dry. With toddlers and pets, who has that kind of time. Don't get this product.
