8 year old carpet rug in my apt. so black with yellow spots. Cleaner WONDERFUL. it cleaned so well that the rug is light gray and soft like when I first moved in. I do not have to nag the manager for new rugs now. I am 60, bad back, 2 knee replacements, cleaner so light weight no pain when using it. BEST cleaner I ever had!!

As long as you have patients as you would with any other carpet cleaner, this product works like you wouldn't believe. I just tested it on my rug just to see what all the hype was about everyone saying "it works so well." It truly does!!! My rug have never been cleaned and was filled with years of stains and dirt and I was getting ready to throw it out until this carpet cleaner sucked ALL of the dirt out like Magic and made my rug look like it was new again! It was definitely worth the purchase. You have to see it yourself to believe the wonders of what everyone is talking about!!

Wanted to love this machine, but I can't get over how long it takes for the floor to dry after using the deep clean mode. This will be going back. The attachments worked great, but the design of the floor cleaner needs to be improved. Can't clean out the bin to remove sand very well because it only has a drain plug. Would be nice to have separate spot to put solution so you aren't wasting it when you are done cleaning... Also would be nice to have a rinse mode to remove soap after washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this online, saw mixed the reviews ,thought I'd go ahead and give it a try worst purchase EVER!! Only 2 good things about it fast delivery and set up,( hence 2 star review) from there it all went down hill. I started to use it and it wouldn't suck any water up , ok take it apart to clean because I saw a very small amount of dog hair in nozzle. Good grief it was horrible to put back together. My husband had to take back apart 4 times before roller bars would spin and it made horrible noises. I'm going back to hoover. Save yourself aggravation and buy something else.

Have tried other shampooers and would spend hours in just one room to get the carpets clean only to have the stains show back up in a week or so, and not be able to walk on carpets until the next day because they would still be wet. Not with this machine! It took me half the time to do a room! Carpets look like brand new! And within an hour or two we could walk on the carpet. There was one or two spots that weren't quit dry probably my fault may not have gone over it enough to suck up the water. It is light weight and easy to use. I would recommend this cleaner to all my friends.

We have had the Bissell 1548 ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Full-Size Carpet Cleaner for several years now. We have been Bissell fans since we purchased our first Bissell vacuum over 10 years ago, so we eagerly purchased this carpet cleaner when we saw an ad for it on TV. We had been using a Rug Doctor unit, but it was big and heavy, so we really liked the idea of having this Bissell unit for quick cleaning, especially with pets. The Bissell 1548 is easy to use and does clean well, giving the user the option of either Deep Clean or Express cleaning modes, depending on your need. The optional hose and hand tool have worked well for us on both stairs and upholstery. The only downside to this unit is that it intermittently loses its suction while cleaning, which requires us to turn of the machine and pull off the both the dirty and clean water tanks and reinstall, then turn the unit back on and resume. When this happens, clumps of hair and carpet fibers will blow out on the floor and need to be picked up. We contacted Bissell about this and were told to take it to our local Authorized Service Center, but they were unable to get the unit to act up. We have continued to use the unit and that is our only complaint. Hopefully, ours is an isolated problem, as we otherwise recommend the unit.

I have 3 dogs and feel like I need to clean my carpets about every four months and renting can get very expensive. I rented a machine and puchased cleaner and paid amost $90 and had to plan ahead to make sure i could get all of my carpets done within the 24 hr rental period. With the Bissell Proheat 2X Revolution I can clean one room or all my rooms as often as i need with no worries of time restraints. Or i can use it when an unexpected mess occurs. After I've cleaned my carpets they look like new and dried very quickly! This machine is well worth the price!

I have carpet that is almost 30 years old and I am crazy enough to own 7 dogs. You can imagine the mess they make on my carpet in my living room. I was just blown away at just how clean this machine got my carpet just on the first cleaning. After it being almost a year since I was able to clean my living room carpet, it just really floored me how clean and fresh my carapet came out on just it's first time of going over the nasty filthy carpet. I expected I was going to have to shampoo it several times (2-3) to get it to look OK. I took great care to vacuum the carpet several times and from all directions. When I went over the carpet with the cleaner, it spit out big balls of fur from my dogs that was deep down. It got out stains in just one pass that my 15 y/o Bissell couldn't get out and it did an amazing job on my sofa as well. It's super easy to connect the hose to be able to do Spot Clean as well. I just love it. I just wish the tanks were bigger but, it's still one dang good machine.

I am happy my carpets are clean again. I just wish it was soft through the entire carpet and not just in the less trafficated areas. One area alone was a dark gray nearly black and the beige carpet has returned. Its not as light beige as it was before, but you can tell it's a beige carpet we had. I like the ease if pushing the machine around compared to a rental from the market. Couldn't believe how often I had fuzz build up from going over the carpet. Oh I love the ability to clean out the receiving bin where as my spot cleaner you cannot get it spotless after dumping. The ease of the fill line and bottle are perfect to avoid solution all over you. With my sons allergies and the dust in Arizona, this was a perfect time to get the machine.

I cleaned all the carpets in my home. I was going to spot clean some bad stains before I started my whole house cleaning. I decided to wait and work on the stains that were left after using my new Bissell Pro Heat 2X. To my great surprise I could not find any stains. I am more than happy with my Bissell purchase.
