The smell is great and leaves the skin feeling smooth - one downfall (and I won't remove a star for it) is that the product is used quickly BUT it's relatively inexpensive so not a huge negative.

It does rub smoothly along my skin and gives off a moisturizing feeling in the process which I love. The smell is great as well, which is perfect for the scent of a man. It is masculine and is strong and can smell myself smelling good and fresh. Washes off pretty smoothly and love that fact since most soaps tend to leave a little sticky residue. I love how soft my skin feels after and how clean I feel through the day. I would recommend. There are other scents, if you’re like me and you aren’t really a big fan of this scent.

Smells great, good lather, doesn't burn or irritate his skin nor does it dry it out. However, he's not giving it 5 stars due to the fact that we don't feel bars of soap are meant for the face. Other than that he says he would definitely repurchase this. However, he likes to use a product that can be easily rinsed with just hand fulls of water. This one takes a little extra effort to get completely rinsed off. He loves when I bring him home new grooming products to try. When we received the Dove Men fresh body and face bar he was excited to give it try! His skin can be quite sensitive and certain products can dry his skin out. This soap not only left his skin soft and moisturized but also left him smelling clean and fresh. The soap is gentle enough to wash his face with and is a great everyday soap. Very pleased that Dove has included the men in their product line.

Just as the body wash, the extra fresh menthol additives gives you the total clean feeling, except you get a deeper sense of cleanliness scrubbing down sans loofa. It’s awesome to use in the morning before work—wakes you up and gives you a rush! I also particularly enjoy it after being out and about. It refreshes you after a long day in the heat.
