I admit I don't usually care to buy special soap for my husband and sons, but these smell really good. I haven't showered with them, but I have washed my hands, and they lather up nice and rinse clean which I appreciate. Anything that makes it easier for my kids to scrub clean is a win. Husband and sons like the way they smell which is a crisp clean scent not perfumey. If you wear cologne it isn't going to compete and if you go au naturelle you don't smell like a floral bouquet either.

This stuff is award winning to me. Creates an exceptional lather that doesn’t leave my skin itchy or dry after a shower. I’ve even used it to shave my face and body including sensitive areas. It comes packaged nicely and does not take up space in my bathroom or shower like a big bottle would. A bit of water makes this soap magic and the scent is the cherry on top. Class act by Dove.

Listen up! If your husband has strong body odors, this is definitely the right bar soap for his shower. It's large and has a strong scent made just for men—that exact fragrance every girl wants to smell on her partner. I highly recommend it; it's big and long-lasting.

I have bought Dove for men at SAMs for many years, and been pleased with it as a product. Good lather, gets you clean, pleasant non-perfume smell. But with the last two packages we have bought, I have noticed the soap now doesn't last a month. I am going through it much faster than before, and my routine and environment has not changed. Something with the product is now reducing how long it lasts. I may need to start looking at other products instead, shame.

This is the second time I have encountered a severe odor defect with Dove Men Care Extra Fresh bar soap, and it has now occurred across purchases from different retailers. This is not isolated to Sam’s Club. I just received and opened two sealed multipacks, 14 bars each, for a total of 28 bars. The odor is immediate and overwhelming upon opening the packaging. The smell is moldy, rotten, and sour, to the point that the soap cannot remain open in the same room. This is not a mild fragrance issue or personal sensitivity. It is a strong, unmistakable defect. All bars smell identical straight out of sealed packaging, which rules out storage conditions in my home. This indicates a manufacturing or formulation stability problem affecting entire batches. I experienced the same issue previously with the same product purchased from a different retailer, which confirms this is a product level issue, not a retailer handling issue. A personal hygiene product sold in bulk must be reliable and consistent. Dealing with 28 bars of unusable soap is unacceptable, and this should not happen repeatedly with a major brand. Until this issue is addressed at the manufacturing level, I cannot recommend purchasing this product from any retailer.
