I used this soap for decades and loved the scent, but they changed it to a one-note, sickeningly sweet synthetic perfume smell that reminds me of a dollar store candle. It is truly awful, and unless Caress pulls a Coca-Cola and releases "Caress Classic," I will never buy this again.

I do feel clean afterwards but I will say that it could be more moisturizing then it is as it leaves a tad dry feeling on the skin a few hours after using it if you don’t lotion up afterwards. But pairing it with a good shower routine is easy. I would use again.

My skin was a bit dry but this happens with all soaps and I always wear lotion because my skin is super dry normally. I don’t like the soaps that leave a film of “moisture” it makes me feel dirty. I like the feel it gives when lathering and washing I just wish the scent wasn’t so strong I like doves unscented and this particular brand doesn’t have unscented. But I do love the quality and care it gives to my skin I don’t feel striped and dry after using which is always a plus.

Normally, I use Dove as a brand but I will say I didn't have any complaints. There was no weird residue or significant dryness. I would recommend this to friends.

I opened the shipping box and the floral smell was so overwhelming I couldn't even bring it in the house! I remember using this years ago and it had a light, nice smell but this, whew, I opened the box under my carport and it was so thick under there even my husband was complaining and I only opened one box of the soap. I called for a return and they were super professional, did a quick return and told me to donate or dispose of the soap not to return it. I will be giving it to my friend that does use this soap and lives on a fixed income, every little bit helps!
