Not the original Caress I grew up with and loved. The scent is horrible, almost smells like sewage to me with hints of sweet. It leaves my skin so dry as well. Now what am I to do with this giant pack of soap I will not use? Why change the formula? Disappointed!

Hello. My girlfriends and I were sitting around today discussing our favorite body washes, soaps, etc. I mentioned that I have used caress bar soap my entire life, ( I’m 55), until recently when they changed the scent. I HATE it! My girlfriends chimed in and agreed that we ALL can’t stand the “new” Caress scent. WHY would you change that luxurious smelling bar soap’s scent? It was perfect. I used to buy it 8-12 bars at a time. NOW I’m stuck with a backup supply of my favorite soap, ( or so I thought), that I can’t and won’t even use. Why didn’t you at least warn us on the packaging that it had changed. We HATE IT! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the old scent so that ladies all over the world can enjoy our showers and baths in luxury the way we used to. We are begging you!!!

I have only used this once because my friend gave it to me once when I was put of soap and I have to say it was a reappy good product. I feel like it did leave my skin a bit dry because I'm naturally dry but I would recommend to someone without dry skin.

I have been using Caress bar soap for 40+ years. The new formula does not leave your skin silky soft. It is just the opposite. With my first use I was so disappointed. The new scent is not my favorite, but thought I could get used to it. The lack of moisturizing is the deal breaker, though. I have a large package I will be donating, as I just can't get used to the squeaky feeling. Longtime customer lost on this change.

Maybe I got the wrong bar of soap when I did, but I don't know what the hype is about. It smells fine when you take it out, but smells bad when it sits in water. Where I've gotten from, it is affordable (almost cheap). I would recommend as a shaving gel alternative.

Smelled like flowers with a slight smell of peaches. When I showered, the soap is very soapy and cleaned my body great! Left my skin feeling very clean.
