Love this bar soap! Too bad it doesn't last for too long though. It does make my skin feel smooth and the scent is amazing. My bathroom smells just of this soap after my showers but not in a too clingy way. Anyway, love this soap. Recommend it. for sure.

I love how Caress daily silk body wash makes my skin feel. The texture of the formula is silky smooth coming from the bottle, and the scent is ok; I prefer other Caress scented body washes much more. It can be used with or without a sponge or cloth; I prefer to spread on my skin with my fingers sometimes , although it can use more product, and rinse. My skin feels soft immediately, and if you don't rub your skin harshly with a towel, it will stay softer after showering, but you still should use a moisturizer. Overall, I enjoyed this product.

My skin felt silky and moisturized after use. My mom loves bar soap and is a huge fan of this! I don’t think I’d purchase this in the future as I much prefer body wash.

I’ve used caress bar soap for 45 years..peach blossom.. the new scent is horrible..it makes me sneeze in the shower. Why o why do these companies change a good product…thinking they will make more money? I’m saddened by this change and am searching for another soap…thanks alot caress from a 4 decade customer ☹️

As others have similarly said, I too have been using the "Daily Silk" soap for 30+ years and have loved it! I even took bars with me when I would travel overseas on business trips for multiple years. BUT when I returned to the US from my most recent trip and reordered my favorite soap, I was met with a product that smells completely different! Not even close to the same. The new formula scent is SUPER strong and I can still smell it lingering in the air hours later in my bathroom! It also does not leave my skin as soft smooth as the previous formula and makes my skin "squeaky" after rinsing which is one thing I disliked about other soaps and why I have used the Caress product for so long. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. Soap is one of those things that impacts your "smell", and now I feel like I smell totally different and not in a good way! I will unfortunately be looking for a new everyday soap as I just cannot tolerate this new formula/scent. This is the first product review I've every done online, but I felt it was necessary. So sad!!

I have used Caress for over 25 years. My skin always felt refreshed and moisturized with a soft floral scent. This new formula leaves my skin extremely dry and itchy and the scent is very strong. I really love the caress body wash and bar soap. I have so many bar soaps I believe I will return them for body wash. I hope you will go back to the original formula soon...

The bar soap smelled like bird feathers. The lather was ok for the first outer later and then it stopped lathering well and dried out and split. Overall, a very poor product and a disappointing change from the original Daily Silk - which now seems to be discontinued. This quality is akin to cheaper brands on the market. As a result, I will no longer be buying Caress soap.

So baffled why they'd change a good thing. The new scent did not bother me as much as the feel in the shower, like my skin had been leeched of all its moisture. The closest way I can describe it is as if I had showered in rosin powder, the kind used to enhance stickiness or grip. I run my hand down my arm, even wet, and it does not glide, it sticks. I have exclusively used Caress for over 30 years, but now I am shopping for a new personal soap.
