[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great soap bar . It smells great and gets a great amount of product when lathering some onto your loofa/wash cloth. It cleans as it should and overall is good . It’s my usual go to when I’m looking for a bar rather than liquid.

I have used the original Caress Daily Silk bar for 30 years. It has been the only soap on the market to not burn my sensitive skin. Since you have changed the formula, I have been burned every time I use it. So very disappointed in the new formula. Heart broken I have to go find something else and go through trial and error until I find something that does not burn me.

This is one of the top 10 worst things happening in my personal life right now. Not to sound like a brat but the new formula is horrible in my opinion :( I have been using Caress Daily Silk Bar since I was a teenager, 30+ years. It was the perfect soap from head to toe. The fragrance IS MY SCENT so you can imagine how disappointing it is to suddenly smell different after that length of time. FWP I know. I implore people to let Caress know how you feel about the new formula. and please please please ask them to return to the original or make it available for us who loved it. I have used the original scent caress bar soap for decades and loved it! I tried the new bar soap and it is horrible. It leaves your skin dry and almost sticky, while leaving nasty soap scum around the tub or shower. Please bring back the original scent, otherwise you have lost a devoted customer.

Honestly, I can take or leave the new scent; I'm certainly more used to the old scent, but the new one is fine, too. What I won't stand for, however, is that Caress seems to have taken this opportunity to reformulate a lot more than just the scent, and has majorly skimped on the moisturizer in this "new" formulation. I've been using Caress Daily Silk bar soap for more than 15 years, because it was one of the very few soaps I could find that didn't leave my skin dry and irritated after taking a shower. However, with this new formulation, my skin is noticeably dry and itchy after just a single use. I don't know if the aim was to avoid a price increase by cutting material costs or what, but the end result is a bar of soap that disparages the name Caress, as well as the loss of a loyal customer.

Original Caress Bar Soap was the best. I started using it over 20 year ago. I do not care for The Daily Silk white peach & orange blossom. When I first used it I thought something was wrong because of the smell and I did not feel as fresh after using it. Please bring back Original Caress.

So I'm pregnant. Every pregnancy I have, i get obsessed with your soap. I'm up to two baths a day and I sniff the soap every time I'm in the bathroom. Can you guys make a candle that smells the exact same as the soap? This would be great! It will also help me to not come across as a crazy person for randomly sniffing your soap and soap boxes. This white peach and orange blossom daily silk bar soap by caress smells amazing. This bar has become step one in my shower routine and I just love how incredibly silky and soft my skin feels afterwards.
