While this Excedrin Extra Strength Headache medicine did help make mine go away, I don't know if it was any more effective than Advil for me personally. Advil is just ibuprofen and this Excedrin formula has contains acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine, so it boils down to personal preference or if you have sensitivities to certain ingredients. The packaging is pretty standard and has all of the information needed to help make a purchase or decision.

The caffeine, I think, in particular makes this a better product of you tend to get headaches. I don't find that the package to be very distinctive from the Excedrin regular formula, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find. It takes about 20 minutes to kick in and then your headache should be gone for the rest of the day.

First, the pills are not too large to swallow and they don't have a bad taste like most pills. Second, these can be taken for typical pain relief, minor aches, headaches, a cold, arthritis or period cramps. I felt immediate relief within 10 minutes of taking the pills. I usually take two at a time because these are 250 mg. It does contain caffeine so if you have any caffeine headaches, these are a good choice to take.
