They seemed to be bursting through the outer skin of the gel due to some weakness in the skin. Is it safe to consume these malformed gells?

With the increased absorpsion rate, it has made making it much easier--not have to be so careful with taking with food or the right food. Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and have been trying to clean out any ingredients that could cause problems for me. I was disappointed to find 2 ingredients in your capsules that could cause problems for me. Polysorbate 80 and and Sorbitol have been implicated as potential triggers for IBD and substances that I should avoid. I don't understand why there needs to be an artificial sweetener and a filler in a capsule that is swallowed and not chewed. I am afraid I will not be able to continue to use it as I clean up my system.
