I unfortunately started statins at young age due to being genetically very high risk for cardiovascular disease. I'm glad to have this option for CoQ10.

Packaging looks great. Marketing makes it sound great. But it is HUGE and I can't swallow it. Most ubiquinol gel caps are very small, so this must be full of fillers. I will stick with much cheaper Spring Valley Ubiquinol even though it has additives it doesn't need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently read a medical article that said high-absorption CoQ10 ("ubiquinol") was more effective for heart and brain health compared to both regular CoQ10 ("ubiquinone") and/or traditional Omega-3 supplements. This caused me to stop taking my fish oil and re-start CoQ10. In the past - not knowing there was a difference - I had been taking ubiquinone, but I'm very pleased now to know that I'm getting the best absorption of this important supplement.

However, after an appointment with my internist, she strongly suggested that I change to Qunol since it's not only a much better product but is absorbed by the body in a more efficient manner. Previously, I believed that a vitamin was a vitamin, a mineral was a mineral, and so forth, not particularly paying attention to brand names. My doctor said that this may be the case with some products, but with CoQ10, the brand name does make a difference. Yes, it's more expensive, but Qunol works so much better than any other brand. I'm sticking with it!!

Pills are fairly easy to swallow with a bit of water/liquid. I will write a full review when I have had enough time to let this supplement do its work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been taking this product for over a year now and can absolutely say that I made the right choice. I use to be somewhat lethargic especially in the early afternoons but now I go with my daughter at least 3 times a week after work to workout at a fitness camp. I haven't found myself coming down with colds or flu as prevalent as prior to taking it. Especially during "season" when all of the Northerners come south to their second homes during the winter and bring their coughs, colds and flu. I continually check my heart with blood pressure and heart rate tests which have also vastly improved since I started taking it. It's been a tri-win for me.
