Initially, the Magic Bullet did a fantastic job of making smoothies from frozen berries, bananas, and peanut butter. My major complaint is that after about twenty uses the gasket did not provide sufficient sealing of the liquid contents, which leaked into the mechanism.

We got ours back on July 18th 2015 as part of a wedding shower gift. My wife was using it almost daily and it was working really well until the rubber gear that controls the blade was worn down to a nub in just 2 months. Really great product...Now it doesn't blend at all because the gear doesn't engage.

It now makes a horrible noise and doesn't blend any more. I can't find the base any where at a reasonable price, without it costing more than the whole package!!!

I bought my magic bullet 1 yr ago and got the extended protection plan. hThe vkade broke and motor running slowly. Called customer service, they asked a couple questions and are sending me a new base and blade in 7-10days just had to pay shipping. New base comes with a new protection plan. Very smooth transaction, very happy with the result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance can do so many things. I like that I can make anything from a smoothie to a cheese dip in a matter of minutes. It's really easy to take apart to clean it and put it back together. The cups that come with it are also a nice touch. But the best part of it is that it doesn't take up much counter space at all. I'm considering buying another one just to have on hand.

Very disappointed in the newer version (bought in autumn, 2017). We had one previously (purchased 2-3 years prior to 2017), and it worked really well. It chopped up all ingredients (frozen fruit, soft veggies) very quickly into a smooth drink. Unfortunately, one time I had too many ingredients relative to the amount of liquid. Be careful about this, or you will burn it up and damage the rubber teeth, like I did. Anyway, so we bought a new one in 2017. This one does not chop up the frozen strawberries and frozen bananas - nor baby carrots. You have to run it forever to get them blended (actually, mine never get blended), and by then the rest of the smoothie is watery. When I blend for a shorter time to the thicker consistency I prefer, full flavor is not there, and I'm left with fruit chunks at the bottom of the drink. The old blades used to have sharp edges. The new ones have dull, rounded edges (probably some safety thing), and what good is a tool if it doesn't do the job? I tried to get my money back, but I'm outside the 30 day warranty (some guarantee, just 30 days, I hadn't used enough in the first 30 days to realize the problem). Time to dump this and shop for a different brand that actually blends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this Magic Bullet and found it was great to make my morning smoothie, but only with fresh fruit, it was a bit difficult to use frozen fruit because the machine just isn't powerful enough for harder items. I also made a yummy guacamole with this and it whipped it up beautifully and was well blended. I like that this doesn't take a lot of counter space like other blenders do.

I have been using the magic bullet almost everyday since I received it. I bought it for smoothies and protein shakes. I have used frozen fruit with great results. I don't feel that it is loud as other reviewers have mentioned. Very happy with this purchase and would purchase again, wish I had bought this sooner.

I bought my majic bullet about 6 months ago, it's not something I use daily. Bought to make smoothies and shakes. Works great with frozen fruits so long as you add milk. The reason I give the bullet 3 stars is because it recently started leaking out the bottom whenever I use it making a mess! The lid is not very easy to take off either.
