Mine only lasted for a year when one day it had a complete melt down. The bottom black base where the blade is attached had a complete melt down and made a hole through it. Like are you serious? Utter waste of money. Don't waste your money on such a sub par item.

I should have known better, I had a Nutribullet before to make smoothies it lasted 7 months before the motor burnt out and was leaking from the blade. I bought a magic bullet 6 months ago and have used it 6 times now it leaks in the same place. These are not well made.

I'm going to give this product a 3 as it is good for single serving shakes, chopped of vegges, BUT the tabs that actually activate the the blade action break off and then the Bullet does not work. The cups should be made of glass not flimsy plastic where the tabs break off. If there was an option to just purchase certain cups at an economical price then maybe I would forgive the defect, but there are no affordable options other than buying a whole set of cups, many of which we don't even use.

I have always bought magic bullet blenders but this last one seems to have issues I think because of the volume of tje blenders they are making now the quality just isn't what it use to be my latest one would make my smoothies nice and smooth no flakes of kale or spinach this one doesn't do this and it smells like the motor is going to burn out every time I use it

I want to go on record that I LOVE Magic Bullet! I have always kept one on hand as I make a daily protein shake for my husband. I put nuts, frozen fruit, a slip of numeric and ginger root; and whatever fresh veggies, fruit and supplements I choose to put in. I fill it with water and off we go! I appreciate the easy use and clean up. It is perfect for individual servings. I have larger machines, but, while easy to clean also, this is perfect to mix and serve a single serving. I cannot say enough how much I like this. The motor gets used so much,I don't mind buying a new blender part every so often. As long as they make this, it will have a place in my kitchen!

I was gifted this item. Within the first week of using it, it stopped while I was using it. At first, I thought the propeller got seized from the frozen fruit. Instead, it just turns out that the motor died. This is the second bullet I've had that has died in this manner.

We got ours back on July 18th 2015 as part of a wedding shower gift. My wife was using it almost daily and it was working really well until the rubber gear that controls the blade was worn down to a nub in just 2 months. Really great product...Now it doesn't blend at all because the gear doesn't engage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this blender as a present and used it for about 1 month on and off. After that time period, the base died and began to smoke. It now makes a horrible noise and doesn't blend any more. I can't find the base any where at a reasonable price, without it costing more than the whole package!!!

Initially, the Magic Bullet did a fantastic job of making smoothies from frozen berries, bananas, and peanut butter. My major complaint is that after about twenty uses the gasket did not provide sufficient sealing of the liquid contents, which leaked into the mechanism.

But i thought it was time for an upgrade. Long story short, this blender is awesome. i make smoothies every day. Easy to clean, and easy to use a cave man can do it.
