I asked for this product for Christmas 2012. 7-8 months later and I am still using this product on a daily basis. I make shakes almost every morning and I was frustrated in having to use a large blender and clean that blender every day. With the magic bullet you only need to rinse/light clean the blades until you do a load of dishes and place your cups in the dishwasher when your done. There is a feature where you turn the cup and it blends automatically without your need to hold it. I would refrain from using it. The nodes that hold your cup in place (and activate the blending when you push down) can snap off if your blend is thicker than a juice. It renders the cup useless at that point and getting the plastic out from the machine can be very hard to do. I have had to replace my machine because one of the plastic peices wouldnt come out of the base and I had snapped the plastic nodules off 2 cups in 7 months of use from the automatic setting. If you buy this, just push down and wait the 10 seconds.. dont twist it to have the machine hold it for you. I recommend anyone who would like to make morning shakes or uses the blender on a regular basis.

We use Magic Bullet to make shakes, smoothies, chutneys and to grind dry spices. Its been working well for us, so far. Small sizes of jars are perfect to prepare chutneys, shakes etc in small quantities - so less wastage. Only critique I have is the motor should have higher wattage for jobs that may need more power. I've heard older models had 350 W motor but the newer ones have only 250W motor. Overall, happy with the product.

I bought many sets of magic bullet blenders over the past 15+ years. I would say its quality has gotten worse and worse. After 4~5 months of light use, it not only made big noises, but also leaked some black tar looking liquids into food which is really a health concern (you don't realize it until you blend some light color food). Totally lost trust on this brand and switched to another brand.

I bought my Magic Bullet over a year ago. It worked fine until recently, when I started noticing that it was getting more difficult to turn the cup to "pulse". It would get stuck for a few seconds then start. One fateful morning, as I was making my favorite smoothie, the motor attachment just froze. Did not turn or even move.To the point that I could not even get it off! I tried turning the power off, getting my husband to twist it off but to no avail. After 3 days of trying , I finally had to discard it! :(( Wish they made a better product!. I would love to have another one but am afraid it will be a waste of my money!

I had the Nutribullet until the motor burned out, but at least it worked well for the 3 years I had it. The Magic Bullet failed on its first try. Couldn't blend frozen fruit. The instructions say not to run the motor more than 1 minute at a time, but it would take more than that to do a simple job. Should be taken off the market or at least instructions should say not to use frozen anything.

We got the bullet as a wedding present and one of the little white tabs broke then today (8 months later all the rubber came off of the bottom of the blade and now we can't use the machine at all. I am a little disappointed in the poor quality of this machine.

I'm a protein believer but I hate eating all the food I need to get in 80 to 100 g of protein every day. Now I use 1/2 banana, Glucerna (medically ordered) and my protein power, 2 ice cubes with skim milk as a filler. I get almost 50 g of protein this way every morning and it taste so good too. Thanks for this Bullet maker is so much easier and quicker to enjoy my protein and get started each day with so much.

Originally I had a platinum pro version of magic bullet. It worked amazing! Imagine my shock to discover not only have they discontinued that model (so I cannot buy replacement pieces). They've since switched to this less effective model and it is junky. I threw 2 frozen strawberries in it using the ice blade...rather then chop them it just broke off bits of plastic from the container and uselessly whirled them about. It has no power to chop anything that isn't soft already...extremely disappointed.

I've used Magic Bullets every day for years and they've been fantastic. When my latest finally quit after several years, I tried replacing it. Three new Magic Bullets in a row had to be returned. They all were barely able to spin a smoothie, smelled bad, overheated and stopped in less than 30 seconds. You've ruined a great product with whatever product or manufacturing changes you've made. Sad.

Recently purchased. Terrific product. Easy to use and clean. Do have a suggestion however: Have you ever thought of adding measurement markings to the bowls So when you need a 8 ounces or some other specific amount, this would be a very helpful feature to have. Would appreciate a reply.
