I love my tablet and it definitely is serving my purpose for this product, i recommend it to anyone who dont have or cant afford computer or such..

Get it! If you need a small tablet get this one. Price is right. Works right out of the box. Can't beat Sam's Club ad Samsung.

Good value, nice low end tablet. One warning, it will not run 64 bit apps such as DJI Fly for the Mavic Mini.

Solid and well made android tablet. Fit and finish are perfect. Easy to use and very decent battery life. The only problem is that it is slow.

Easy start up. Used mostly for a reader and some emails. Seems to have ample memory. Very quick charge and lasts about 9-10 hours when in continuous use.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The Samsung tablet did not work right out of the box. It turns off whenever you try to do anything. Returning and will never purchase a refurbished item from here again.

I got this for my husband. He says it sometimes takes a while to respond. He seems almost as frustrated as he was with the tablet I got this to replace (an ancient Samsung).

This is a woefully underpowered unit for multi-tasking. If you shop at a given web site with the option to pay via Paypal, etc., you may experience freezeups due to the lack of available RAM (only 2 GB). My unit also dropped internet connection if I let the tablet sit unused for a while, or overnight – which was very frustrating. The TM-S290 may suit a child, or a senior citizen, but for about $100.00 more, I highly recommend the SM-T500 (3 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of memory) if you need more processing power. It also comes with facial recognition too, which the TM-S290 does not.

I purchased this tablet just to be able to use the Pattern Keeper app for cross stitch. I purchased the app from the google play store, I up loaded my chart it has been working beautifully. After I loaded my chart on it I turned off the WiFi so I don't get any interruptions from notifications. I like the tablet and love the app.

i have had a larger tablet and i always had to use two hands to hold it. this 8" samsung galaxy tab a is the perfect size and the screen is quite useful and not a bunch of wasted space. i tried using a 7" amazon fire tablet and it was super heavy and bulky. this samsung is super lightweight, yet sturdy with it's metal clad exterior. i added a protective cover and it's still easy to hold and use. one thing i would have added was a flash / light to the front or back camera for those times i need it i use my phone instead. but i'm sure they knew what they were doing because maybe others in their research didn't see the need for one.
