The smart, Smart watch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After around 3 weeks of use I've come to feel attached to my S3 Frontier. That's after thinking that I'd never really need a Smartwatch, too. I've had colleges at work ask me about it, being awed by the apps and features and family, too. The watch can pair up with either a Samsung phone, Android or iPhone (with the iOS software only officially out this week). There are certainly more apps available from the Samsung phone and it’s instantly paired, but pairing with the iPhone 6 was still a great experience, reading my Facebook, email and text notifications, showing weather and news and automatically notifying me how long it would take to get home when I left the office. More impressive was the 4 day battery life, or 2 days if you want to keep the watch face always on. This means you can also monitor sleep without worrying about recharging for a few days. Overall, this is an excellent companion to your phone, whether Android or iOS.
Real smart watch
This is what smart watch should look like. I recently purchased this watch after 1 year of its launch and still this is best smart watch in market. Initially I had battery issues on both watch and phone (Note 8) but after uninstalling the gear manager - restart and re-install of gear manager app - both watch and phone is giving outstanding battery performance. I only wish if the watch was bit cheaper than its current price.
Great looking watch, feel like a baller wearing it
I'll start by saying the Tumi band is a very nice look and it compliments the look of the S3. Pretty stiff first putting it on, but the band will break in. I wasn't really sure what to expect out of the S3, or a smart watch in general. Not saying I was let down... just thought it would be a little more compatible with some non-Samsung apps. Examples would be Google Play Music and Google Maps. All of my music is on Google Play Music and I trust Google maps for navigation. There are ways around this to continue to use those apps with the watch, which I've done, but wish it was easier to do. Also, I was ripping some boards on a table saw this morning with the watch on and for some reason the watch thought I was taking a bike ride... I guess the angle and motion of my watch hand made it think that. It's definitely something to get used to, but I'm excited that I have it and anxious to utilize all of it's features. I'll use different watch faces for different places I go (or outfits I wear). I don't have a comment on the battery life yet as I've just got it, but it claims to have pretty decent run time on a charge. Using the watch as a phone works just fine, but if you're around any background noise, it's pretty difficult to hear, even with volume up. I think it's best utilized with some ear phones. What I like about the phone function the most is being able to see who's calling without taking out your phone. There's a lot of health tracking features built in... some of which I will probably remove simply because I don't really need them (like a heart rate monitor), but I do see the benefit of them being available for others. I've got to spend some time with it to realize more of it's features, but so far fairly pleased with the purchase.
Was great, now awful!
Bought it so that I'd never miss a job opportunity. Was really awesome until all the updates. Now my battery life went from about 3 days to 1. By the end of day 1, I'd have about 28%. Then the worst is that I couldn't see who was calling, couldn't wake my watch when a text came in, and delayed response when using touch screen after I finally get it to wake up. I would recommend this watch for aesthetics some functionality but only if you're not dependent on receiving and replying to calls and texts. It has become frustrating. Will add a video shortly. Just took off charger and NOW it's responding, but just wait. It will start delaying, otherwise I would not have wasted my time writing this.

Best birthday present ever
First smart watch, but not the last one after see how great this one is ; no doubt about it. It sync with my phone with out any problems, so smoothly and in top of that I'm able to use a Bluetooth headset at the same time and it doesn't interfere with it. I've been showing off my watch
Samsung G3 Bluetooth
This is an excellent watch. Perfect size and great looks. Has many excellent features. I really love the free different watch faces that you can choose from. It is the best smart watch out in the market. I love the Samsung line of products and never had any issues. Waiting for the Note 8 to come out that this watch would compliment perfectly. Great job. Keep churning out great products.
Excellent piece of workmanship
Great features and includes Wifi, Bluetooth and NFC connections. When out of phone bluetooth range (approx 15 metres) the watch will use stored Internet connections that the phone has previously used receiving emails etc. Alerts, answer emails, great used during meetings. Check mail and text without modifying your phone. Really is a great featured watch with plenty of faces to suit
Time peice with abilities
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch has been mistaken for a high end Swiss time piece many times whilst it's been residing on my wrist during the duration of this campaign. It's elegance has complemented my city attire nicely with it going well with a shirt and suit. What's more, the leather band is holding up well to great standards and haven't even needed to think about putting another one on, but glad to know the option is there. The bezel is by far the best interface to interact with a device this size bar none, with the software complimenting it perfectly. The battery life has been great, even with the always on display I've not needed to worry about it once, just pop it on my bed side dock and it's good to go. Sleep tracking works, but I just think it's a tad to big for me to wear to sleep at least. The heart rate tracking is good although it's a shame it's not always on like a fit bit. The auto detection is also great for walks and work outs, giving great prompts and motivations throughout. What's really engaging is competing against your friends on s health for the most steps! Other points to note are the navigation software could be improved, the app available on the store is slow, I could see great potential for this watch for navigation when cyclng. To finish this slick modern smart watch is clearly running up front with features, functionality and style, whilst some little niggles still prevent it from being perfect it's pretty much the cutting edge in 2017 - what's more, the number of times I've had jaws drop around me when I answer the phone on the watch was worth the price of admission. P.S 3 of my peers have bought a gear S3 as a result of this fantastic campaign.
It won’t last
I bought this about three years ago. Recently a crack appeared in the rear of the watch and soon after water ingressed and the watch broke down altogether. It was a good watch while it lasted...but I’m not interested in watches that don’t last pretty much indefinitely. This isn’t such a device and if you’re like me and don’t want to be throwing broken tech into recycling, I’m afraid, I’d avoid it like the plague. Sad, watch manufacturers can’t play the same games with watches they play with phones...at least, I hope not...
They've nailed it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the one, they've nailed it! The last watch was good, but this time they've really managed to sort out everything from top to bottom. I've got no doubts that i'm going to continue to use it for a long time, everyone I've been showing it off to absolutely loves it and a couple have gone out and bought one themselves!
