[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this watch to wear and give an honest review and have been wearing this it for about 3 weeks now and I am very impressed. It is very stylish to be worn every day or to high class affair. Samsung put a lot of thought into the design and function of this watch. You can easily change the watch faces and even design your own after downloading a free app. The rotating bezel makes it easy to find and access the installed apps. Apps can be added and the icons rearranged to your preference. You can answer and make calls directly from the watch and the sound is very clear. The people on the other end of the call have no idea that you are not talking from your phone. The SHealth app automatically counts steps, monitors sleep, exercise and will even give you a nudge if you haven’t moved for about an hour. The watch has an “always on” function which will only show the watch and not the background until you raise your arm. With the “always on” function on I get just over 2 days of battery life but if I turn that function off I get a little over 5 days without recharging. I only have a couple of cons and they come under the heading of personal preferences. The watch band was a thick leather and not very pliable which may correct itself in time and for my usage I would prefer the “Home” and “Back” buttons should be reversed but this is minor and not a deal breaker.

I received this as an early 2018 Christmas present and have been wearing it for about 1-month. The Gear S3 Frontier does absolutely everything I expected plus a few good surprises. I was initially worried about the size of the watch, but it's perfect and looks very good on my wrist. The standard band is somewhat flimsy but I'll solve that with a new $10 band.

I've had the watch for about a month now. I have to say I am pretty impressed. I have always been an Apple user and recently I decided to change to an Android. I am very pleased with my decision. My favorite feature is the face that you can type things out on the watch and send it in a text. This is very handy when in meetings.

The Gear S3 is my third Samsung smart watch and hands down the best of the collection. The slightly larger screen size brings impressive details to smaller aspects of watch faces and fits my wrist much better compared to my Gear S2 Classic. Having a speaker/touch sounds/ringtones I feel fixes the biggest flaw of the Gear S2 models. I just wish the sleep tracker was a separate widget to start and stop recording, I am not a fan of how it detects when I get up in the morning.

SAmsung has done it again with another over the top smartwatch. The Frontier comes with an altimeter and barometer how cool is that.. They improved the band with hinged joints. Now the watch will lay flat when placed on a table. Better battery life and improved speaker phone, how can you go wrong.Samsung Pay is another new feature, forgot your phone in the car no problem, Samsung pay is now on your wrist. And for those who have not yet found Samsung phones, the watch is compatible with more phones other then Samsung. So do yourself a favor get out and get the Gear S3 today.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First reaction was that it is a lot bigger than the Galaxy S2 and was worried how it would look on my small wrist compared with the S2. I needn't have worried at all. It was the Classic I received. The strap was a bit stiff so bought a leather one instead. Made a real difference to the fit and feel. I think the leather strap should be standard on at least the Classic. Away from the aesthetics I love what goes on inside. Love that I can answer calls and texts without my phone. (It still needs to be close but I can live with that until we get the iSIM version in the UK - hurry up with that please UK networks). The UI is cleaner and it is possible to download apps and watch faces directly to the phone. I haven't tried it yet but it also has contact less payment facilities. The battery life is better than the S2 and but not as good as stated. I really like the reminders to get moving and also the tips on how to get back on track. Could do with a few different instructions as well as the stretching one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a Samsung Gear Fit 2. This actually looks like a watch which us great. The only down side is it's a bit chunky. I've knocked it on the occasionally door frame. Other than that, a fantastic wearable.

Loved the design of the Gear S3 frontier, looks amazing outwardly but was disappointed in seeing its performance when tne battery was charged to 100% , the estimated battery life is said to be for 2days 12hrs which is a great disappointment to samsung as they say it would last for about 3-4days. I dont expect it would last for 3-4days. The battery life was one of the main reason for me buying this watch.

Great watch! If you want all the bells and whistles this is the one. If you just want a good one but don't care about the fancy stuff, the Amazfit Bip is your best bet. It all depends on if you think the loaded watch is worth $130 more. I bought both.

I have spent hours. I have wiped the watch more times then I can count. I had to wipe my phone to have it work with my contacts or anything then (Now) on the phone at random times the S3 plugin dies. I hate this watch now. I wanted state of the are android and I thought I was getting it now I upset. I expect this to be replaced with a new watch.
