[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Gear S3 Classic is an utility watch where it can be used in many ways, both electronically and fashionably. First, I like the classic because it gives you abundant variations in fashion. You can snap different straps and you can change the face of screen because it is all digital. So, depending on the occation and whom I see, I often changed the Gear S3 along with my outfit. Second, the electronically, it is great. Since you can access the notification on the watch face, one can save power on the Samsung phone. In addition, you can use the watch separately from the phone whereby it will count your exercise without having your phone with you, then later on, you can sync the activities so you always know the total footsteps. The hard part about working with a small watch screen is changing settings, etc. However, if you have your phone, you can change the setting pretty easily without taking out another eye glasses out. All in all, I think Gear S3 Classic is great if you care about your fashion and if you want basic functionality on your wrist so you are not constantly taking your phone out. The battery life lasts for two to three days so you do not have to worry about charging so many things at night. I was worried carrying this watch around and scratching or losing it. But, I was surprised that it has no scratch after a month whereas my other watches were easily scratched. The only downfall I faced with was that the voice recognition kicked in a few times during meetings. I hope the sensitivity on that can be changed so the watch does not start talking on its own. Overall, this is great. I think it is a likable watch whether you have the Classic or Frontier. It certainly adds ease in your life.

The 1.3-inch Super AMOLED screen on the Samsung Gear S3 is, unsurprisingly, one of the best on the market. Samsung has had a long history of making brilliant screens for its phones, and using that same technology here means you've got a clear and bright screen. That said, when it is turned on, the Gear S3 has a beautifully bright and vivid screen. The Classic opts for premium materials like metal and leather, easily making it one of the best-looking smartwatches out there for Android and Apples fan. The Samsung Gear S3 is probably one of the best-looking smartwatches out on the market right now and for those looking for something a bit more sporty you can find on the frontier model The only drawback to the Gear S3 is that it does not come in different sizes, so those with smaller wrists like me might feel a bit intimidated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to begin using the Samsung Gear S3 Classic once it arrived. Setup was very easy and everything necessary was included in the box (sans smartphone, of course). I actually left the US to travel abroad the day after I got my hands on the watch and it has come in great handy here in Europe. I was able to download a converter app that allows me to easily convert foreign currency values to USD, metric measurements to imperial, and other such things. I am definitely glad that I have it. Now let's get into the pros and cons: Pros: • Sleek design • Easy-to-navigate interface • Great integration with smartphone • Very precise touch screen (I almost always am able to tap the correct icon if there are a lot in a small space) • Lots of customization options • Great battery life (I can go 3-4 days without charging mine) • Wireless charging stand is included • Many additional apps can be installed Cons: • The watch strap is a little stiff and has some slight creases at the holes I typically secure it on. • The rotating bevel could "click" into place better (I often find myself having to spin the bevel the opposite way because it spins so easily and I pass the option I was trying to get to) • There are "home" and "back" buttons but no "select" button so if you want to select an option you have to tap the icon on the screen. So even though the bevel can rotate to indicate a specific icon on the apps screen, you can't select that icon with a button; you have to tap it, which seems a little redundant because you could just tap the icon from the start without rotating the bevel to indicate it. • The S Health app sends me "keep up the good work" and "that was a nice walk" notifications on the watch during and after walking somewhere as "encouragement" but honestly it's kind of annoying and I've disabled all of the health nudges in the app but it hasn't stopped these notifications.

The watch overall looks really nice and I get a lot of compliments on it. This is the first watch I have ever worn. I never liked wearing anything on my wrists before so it did take some time to get used to and I am still getting used to having it on my wrist. To sum up the main uses for the watch it comes down to these 3 things: 1. Quickly glance at notifications (text, FB messenger, email, apps, fitness trackers) 2. Track your fitness 3. Quickly pay almost anywhere with Samsung Pay Samsung Pay works amazingly well and seems to be even faster than the phone. It has worked everywhere so far. I really like that it gives you 30 seconds to pay. I think the phone app should be increased to at least 15 or 20 seconds as this makes it convenient to turn on as the cashier is finishing up the checkout. The fitness apps work pretty well. I am not sure the flights of stairs works very well. I think maybe there is a height that it is trying to hit and it must not think I am going up that high. I really would like to see an app such as map my fitness for the watch. Then it can track your fitness on a pre-downloaded map and show you everywhere you went. The app section is pretty limited right now. Overall it seems to work fine. I would like to see my email from Inbox by Google added to the watch since I don't use the Samsung inbox. For now, I only get through my Verizon texts and my facebook messenger messages. I have a small wrist and I think the watch looks fine. It looks like any other metal watch with a big face. There are a lot of watch faces and it is easy to switch faces at any time. I really like the faces that have the time, plus the fitness trackers on it so that you can easily check on those numbers at the flick of a wrist. Battery life is really strong. It lasts at least 3 days. Depending on what I am doing with it, I might just charge it at 2 days just to make sure it won't die on me.

I have been using my Gear S3 for 3 months and I only have good things to say about this gadget. This is only my second smart watch and compared to the previous and a set of sport tracking bands this is a better product with a lot more features and customization options. Highly recommend this smart watch

It is great looking watch with broad selection of screen faces, battery is great and many other options are amazing but.. its altimeter is a mistake because shows different readings from same place, watch will not count your stairs at all or maybe 5% of it and steps are not accurate as well. It is not finished product or software has many bugs. Not recommend buying if issues are not fixed.

Some convenient features: - stainless steel, waterproof design - smart communication alerts which sync through all of your devices. - handy predetermined replies which can be created and stored - S Voice feature allows you to send a speech to text reply - easy scrolling by means of touch screen or physical dial - track your heart rate, floors climbed, steps taken, appointments - sync to your S Health account - send texts, make phone calls, record voice reminders - use as a stand alone navigator - access your Spotify account - pay at the checkout with Samsung Pay - the camera app, which uses the RF or FF camera on your phone to secretly take a photo. Did I mention that it also tells time? The watch is beautiful and handy, but why take my word for it? Try one out today. I think that you'll agree that your watch should do more than simply keep track of time.

Woke up this morning and my brand-new S3 says that it is 10:08 pm on January 28, 2019. This has happened a few times now, and I've had the thing less than 2 weeks. Returned for refund! The primary function of a watch is to tell you the time. If it cannot do that (at least to an acceptable degree of accuracy), then it's time to get a new watch.

I was never a round watch person till i saw Gear S3, i love the ability of making calls on Bluetooth version, seeing all notifications, the display is amazing and so bright, my favorite feature is Samsung pay.I am in love with Samsung pay, its so much fun to use and it wows people everywhere i use it along with security. 100% recommended "A MUST HAVE"

This is my second android watch... looks amazing, performs amazing and it is well done. the only reason I did not rate 5 stars it is because has no link with Whatsapp messenger. If you use daily, like I do, the only thing you will be able to do is just reply a message using Whatsapp. You can not creat or look your old messages/contacts. there is a ruge limitation using the app on the gear s3.
