I've made bread pasta noodles cheese cake flour tortilla dough even mashed potatoes chorizo sausage this is a great work tool it's not for the faint of heart

Great Mixer. Have used KitchenAid mixers for 30 years and worn out 2 previous ones. We help feed homeless families for an organization and make 480 each and every week.

I've been looking at this mixer, but the price was too high. Sams club not only had the best price but it was cheaper than the tilt head. It comes with a lot of accessories. I do wish it had a pour shield, however I will purchase one.

I have used it for my sourdough bread. I definitely need a shield which wasn't included. It is kind of hard to know which shield fits this model, because it has a unique model number which I think was specifically made for Sams Club. I just ordered one and am crossing my fingers it will fit when I get it. It is a darker blue than the picture which I'm happy about. It's more of what I would call a wedge wood blue I suppose. It's definitely not pastel. I wish it would be an option to order white.

The mixer is hard to get on the arms, as the knob on the bowl when placed in the holding position, the side of the bowl is not quite aligned. You have to work with it to get it snapped into place. Hoping over time it will fit easily. Otherwise, the mixer is great.

I've wanted one of these for a long time. All of the bread dough without all of the manual kneading. Yay!! I have it for about 6 days when I finally have time to get it out of the box. It doesn't work. It doesn't appear to be used or anything. The only thing it does when you turn it on is blasts insanely fast for about 4 seconds then shuts off. It doesn't matter what speed you set it at, with or without attachments or bowls. It does the same thing, no matter what. Now I get to deal with a return for my first awful experience with my dream machine in the middle of a pandemic. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

By far, the best investment I made for my kitchen. The first one i received was damaged and Sam's Customer service is always so responsive and proactive. I called and the representative basically solve the problem shipped a new one and I am so happy with my purchase I've already baked at least four cakes from scratch and this is coming from someone who didn't bake before I got the KitchenAid. My next baking project is cinnamon rolls and then I will move on to breads. A few things about the KitchenAid; it is very heavy and you will probably want to store it on your counter especially if you bake a lot because putting it away and then getting it out again can be cumbersome. The extra tools are great especially having a deep mixing bowl and a shallow mixing bowl. The spatula i haven't figured out yet because it does not effectively scrape the sides of the bowl so I don't know what it's for. Cleaning the tools are simple and easy. I prefer to hand wash them but you can put them in the dishwasher. I store the bowls by nesting them with the tools inside. The price was perfect. I got it while it was on sale. The best decision I made on a small appliance purchase. Who knew baking could be so cathartic.

I so loved it, at first. The matte black is sleek, the bowl lift arm is super fun and reminiscent of a casino. But I just couldn't get it work properly on a smaller amount of ingredients, I don't always want to make huge amounts of things. Even with the small bowl it comes with. Yes I did the dime test and adjusted the beater height. It had to be adjusted EVERY time I switched between the paddle/whisk/dough hook. The dough hook was the worst of all. It just wouldn't knead the dough. I would have to help it by continuously stopping, scraping the bottom/sides folding the dough so it could reach etc.. quicker to make the dough by hand. I have it packed for the pickup return on Monday. I ended up ordering the artisan in a gorgeous pebbled matte dark green. It actually does it's job with hardly any interference. It was much higher priced but boy I love it. Maybe I got a faulty machine, but this was a disappointment. I would like another bowl lift one day, but with the older narrow 5qt bowl, not the wide one. The bowl width seems to be the main issue on the ingredients having trouble being mixed.

I love this stand mixer. Hoping to cook and bake more often and process my own food. I will get the other accessories because I hated chopping and prep work. This cuts the work time down tremendously. I made a pie from scratch for the first time in 30 years. Only thing I hated was it went on sale for $80 less a week after I bought it.

I have had a KichenAid mixer for about 35 years. It is an Artisan, has been a faithful companion in all my baking endeavors. It still runs well, but I have always wanted a Professional grade one. The idea of the extra bowl and whip and the spatula made the idea of purchasing an intriguing one at that. Looking at just the little extras the price was well worth it. Plus, this being a Sam's Special and not available anywhere else made it a no-brainer. Free shipping to the house a big plus as that none of the nearest Sam's had one in stock. I now have a powerhouse mixer and it is just what I'd been thinking about for years. Oh, I'm not getting rid of the other mixer, two mixers can and will come in handy for the future. This was a deal on KitchenAid that could not be passed up.
