I purchased this mixer for my granddaughter and soon to be grandson in law for their wedding. They both loved the color and all of the extras attachments that came in the box. I had bought the same mixer for another granddaughter's wedding several months ago and paid the same price but did not receive near as many attachments.

After having used the bowl lift and the tilt head, I wish I would have purchased the tilt head instead There are more accessories and mixing bowl options on the tilt head. My wife was pretty disappointed with the bowl lift model so that kind of defeated the purpose of the gift. It was also shipped in a box that showed exactly what it was and that ruined the birthday surprise as well. If you're ordering as a gift, be aware its not a plain brown box. Its the same display box you'd see in the store.

I have always owned KitchenAid mixers and this is the noisiest one yet. I had one that hummed quietly for over 30 years. I had another that only lasted for 3 years before starting to smoke. This Pro model came with the wrong dough hook and customer service was useless; found the right one at Amazon that worked just fine. I will think twice before buying another.

I have used the mixer several times since purchasing it and it works great and holds a lot in the bowl. I had it shipped and it arrived without any issues. My previous mixer had the tilting head and I feel it was easier to remove or switch out the paddles than with this bigger mixer without the tilting head but it works great.

I purchased for home use and it was a good purchase that I would buy again. I am extremely pleased with the equipment and mostly Kitchen Aids service, I found a minor defect that many people may not have noticed and after reporting it to Kitchen Aid they did not hesitate to ship a new replacement unit. I have purchased cheap mixers in the past and watched them fail from normal use, I am expecting this unit to last for years.

Always wanted one of these, and considered it the pinnacle of stand mixers. I was NOT disappointed! First use was making cookies with my granddaughter which was a major success. I have so many more goodies planned for the future. Hope to get the pasta attachments to make my own pasta, too!

I thought at first I hated it, but it took some adapting to with the head not lifting and the bowl not going around like all my other mixers, but with use of the smaller bowl, I am becoming adjusted to it. Also in watching all the professional shows, I see how they are using their Kitchen Aids even with the larger bowl. Yes, I am now glad I got it and at such a good price.

We bought this for our granddaughter and we hear she LOVES it!! She sends us pictures all the time. This will be a lifetime gift!

Works as expected, looks beautiful, and it came with a bonus 3 quart bowl and matching size whisk attachment.
