I received this for Mother's Day, and since it has been on my wish list for years, it had alot of hype to live up to. Following the instructions to adjust the bowl height is essential, but once its done, everything mixes perfectly. Its easy to clean, and change attachments. My kids love being able to add ingredients to the bowl, and it has made baking from scratch more time efficient.

Well you get what you pay for, this is a perfect example of that. This machine is very well built, nothing flimsy. Everything made of hoot quality material. The only thing that I would add is a mixing cover with a shoot, just so you can add ingredients without the getting airborne. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a top of the line Pro 5 mixing machine.

This is the 2nd KitchenAid bowl-lift stand mixer we have bought for one of our children. I have one that has been a hand/arm saver for 20+ years and still looks and works great. The bowl-lift can be awkward, but it has more power than the tilt-head and we do use the grinder often. The tilt-head can get loose in the hinge over time, so between that and the additional power, I continue to buy the bowl-lift for the kids. Over time they will receive some of the attachments. The KitchenAid mixer is heavy to move around, but that also means it doesn't "walk" off the counter when in use. I don't know what I would do during holiday cooking without that mixer!

We bought this mixer approximately three to four weeks ago and my wife loves it. We also bought the shredder slicer attachment and it makes life so much easier.

Needed to replace my 30 year old Kitchen Aid stand mixer. This was such a good price at Sam's Club, I could not resist this new purchase at a good price.

Was making bread dough. It was very loud, grinding sound and got hot then turned it's self off for 30 mins. I have the KitchenAid Classic for year and it never sounded like this and never turned off

Works as designed, quieter than previous models. We make bread, grind the wheat with the grinder attachment, shred cabbage for kraut, on occasion we grind meat. A good machine and it's pretty.

So far so good! Bought to replace a 20 year old Professional 5. This mixer has a bigger motor and a bigger and wider bowl. Used it three different times this weekend and it worked great.

So pleased with this new mixer with the lift up and down mechanism. Seems to stay firmer in place and of course makes baking so much easier! Thumbs up!

I'm so happy with my Kitchenaid, I've been wanted this for a while, people doesn't believe me when I tell them what I paid for it. It's so worth your money.
