The only thing that could have made the mixer package better was for this model to be able to be equipped with a rubber edged spatula/mixing attachment.

This has been on my wish list for so long. The everyday household mixer made by Sunbeam I had for years finally gave out last Christmas. I bake a lot of breads and of course Christmas Cookies. Heavy thick doughs. My Husband got this for me as an early Birthday gift so I would have it before the Holidays. This is a wonderful heavy duty mixer. I researched many models and read endless reviews in addition to price comparisons. This mixer has the motor and power needed to keep up with Holiday baking. * It may not be the prettiest of the Kitchen Aid mixers but I wanted it for the heavy duty jobs it is capable of. I am very pleased and excited. Very grateful my Husband got this for me as I would have put off the purchase even though it is almost half the price with instant rebate of $50 making it $249.98 (& free meat grinder promotion by mail). I have already put it to good use and am amazed at how much more efficient this mixer is over my previous brand. I would absolutely highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about cooking and baking and wants a good product that will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our KitchAid Mixer. We have already purchased extra attachments. Our only complaint is that the mixer attachment that comes with it should have the scraper instead of the just the metal one. Also, when you spend the money for the pro version it should include a cover.

I love the mixer and have used it to make bread, cookies, etc. However, I wish I would have gotten the mixer that lifted back instead of the up down feature. I didn't notice that this mixer didn't go back when I purchased it and you couldn't really tell from the picture. Next time I'll be sure to read all the features.

Was using my sister in law's for a couple years then she moved. I could not be without the wonderful mixer so I bought my own for Christmas. Made many cookies and cakes since then. This mixer makes quick and easy work of baking. I am lookimg forward to trying some of the other attachments. Pasta making sounds fun. This model is a little large and heavy, but I have no doubt it will last for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought KitchenAid Professional Heavy Duty Series around Thanksgiving Day. Boy, it made my cooking job easy because I could simply put ingredients in the bowl, set the speed, and forget until dough mixes are done, including scone dough! One thing that I am not impressed on this mixer is the noise level. It would be better if the machine is a bit quieter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new mixer! I upgraded to the professional heavy duty model. I bake a lot and this mixer is a wonderful tool for me. I really love the gradual build up to the speed I want to use because ingredients don't tend to fly or it of the mixing bowl when it is started after an addition of ingredients.

So glad that I went with the copper colored mixer. This hard to find stand mixer was prettier than expected. My 24 year old daughter had no clue that she was getting this as a Christmas gift. Thinking I should get a new one and she would take my 20 year old mixer. We celebrated with her making us the best carrot cake ever.

I use my daughter-in-laws mixer and loved it. I purchased this one and didn't do enough research to realize it wasn't the same. It's difficult to get the bowl hooked up. It doesn't mix well and the top doesn't lift up. Too difficult to add ingredients.
