[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month of use I can say that the machine is a workhorse that carries the heavy load of baking, which is the mixing of ingredients and (for bread) the cumbersome kneading process. I've used the product exclusively for bread, specifically white loaves, hamburger rolls and pizza dough, all of which require extensive kneading and wear-and-tear on wrists and elbows. Baking bread has become a joy and this machine will definitely put me within reach of not having to purchase bread anymore. The only real issue is having to stop the machine to add ingredients- there is a device that enables you to add ingredients while the machine is operating, but it is an add-on cost and it really should have been included.

I like the wider bowl, the tool to clean the whisk and the additional shallow bowl included in this product. I hated saying goodbye to my old machine and was anticipating problems with the new one. I'm getting used a different sounding motor and the slight delay when starting (which was explained in the product guide). I'm hoping to many happy years using my new mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this mixer as a replacement for my old and smaller 25 year old Kitchenaid stand mixer. I love the huge 5 quart bowl and extra smaller bowl with small whisk. I also love how secure the bowl is held in place. I really appreciate how the attachments from my old mixer can be used with this new one. The only thing negative I can say about it is that it is a little noisier than my old mixer. I look forward to many happy years of food prep with my new KitchenAid mixer!

The mixer can handle the bread doughs I've mixed with no problems. My only complaint really is that it is much louder than the mixers we have in our bakery kitchens.

There wasn't anything wrong with her's but I wanted a little more powerful one. So I got a new tilt head kitchenaid with more power. I gave moms kitchenaid to my niece and it's still going strong to this day. But then I saw a bowl lift kitchenaid mixer that has 525 watts and I had to have that one.So my sister bought it me that for my birthday. I LOVE MY NEW TILT HEAD KITCHENAID.

I have made bread cookies with my granddaughter so very easy, its awesome. I then bought the pasta attachments and never in my life have I had so much fun making homemade pasta and was so good in never going back to store bought. The only downside I can see is the fact that attachments are almost as much as the mixer. Other then that fantastic appliance that has saved my family and put many smiles on their faces.
