[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a Christmas gift. The bowl is light weight and the handle is sharp on the edges. It has to be scraped down frequently which I never had to do with my old mixer. I am use to doubling and tripling recipes. The dough comes over the sides of this bowl. The mixer also makes a high pitch sound. I wish I had not given my old mixer away - it still worked, my husband knew how much I loved it and surprised me with a new one for Christmas.

Have always heard about KitchenAid! Couldn't pass up the excellent deal Sam's was having on Black Friday, plus I could order it on line the day before!! Looked at all the adds and Sam's definitely had the best deal for this wattage! I haven't used it but my daughter who came home from school for the holidays had used the heck out of it and LOVES IT! Hopefully Sam's will have another great deal, maybe in different colors and I'll be buying another one, for my daughter this time :)

I like making cookies and if I owned a cookie store there would be several of these mixers in use making cookies. I have owned several other brands and this is the best for my home use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Professional Heavy Duty Series in January. I use it to mix cheese spreads, homemade Spaghetti sauce and anything that's needs mixing. Love the big bowl it has. I do like the lower option of the bowl. Very easy clean up and put back together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a kitchenaid mixer for over 20 years and I wouldn't buy ant other brand. It is heavy duty enough for needs. I love that I have 2 bowl sizes and so many beaters for whatever my cooking project is. I love the aqua blue color I got... it's a little more on the blue side... I think... but I still love it! Great value for the product. Awesome!

This Black Friday deal on this Kitchen Aid was a good buy. It was discounted another $50 off the Sams Club price, was shipped free and arrived in two days. This particular model did not qualify for the extra $50 Kitchen Aid rebate. I have used Kitchen Aid mixers for over twenty years and they are work horses. I own two other models and use them everyday in a commercial application. Only one has ever needed repaired and that was for an inexpensive bushing part. This was an easy DIY fix. The color purchased was the satin copper and it is beautiful,blends in easily with any decor. You'll find that once you buy your KitchenAid,you'll be using it all the time!

The HD Mixer is powerful and easy to use as well as stable on any table or counter top. Although it would be nice to have the mixer head tilt back it is easy to use and change attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made 12 batches of cookies and 2 Danish Kringle. (Coffee cake). Awesome mixer. They need to have a design change because it is difficult to remove the beater from the mixer after the dough has been mixed . They need to redesign the top motor. You should be able to de-tach the beater blade from the mixer head and then turn the beater head to the right or left away from the bowl. Then the bowl can easily be lifted from the machine without fighting trying to get the mixing blade out of the bowl while it is swallowed up by the pastry dough. This would be a major improvement. Too difficult to get the mixing blade out of the full bowl of dough.

I got this mixer for Christmas and it replaced my artisan mixer. I make cakes and frosting mainly with my mixer. It takes things like a champ. I do still have the artisan and what somewhat struggled for that, the pro takes it very easily. The hardest thing is to get the bowl to attach to the base. There is no splash guard that comes with this, so would have to buy that separately. It's a great mixer and love the copper color!
