In the last two months I have learned to use it for so much more than making a cake. I not only make things I can bake but I prepare appetizers, side dishes and even whole dinners. Can't wait to get more attachments. I will be able to replace most of my countertop appliances!

I had a 3.5 quart mixer and loved it but I have literally dreamed of this beautiful appliance. It is the steel gray and it works even better than it looks. No surprises there...Kitchenaid quality is never disappointing!!

There's no need to scrape the sides of the bowl because of beaters do a good job of getting the whole area. I have a problem getting the the beaters out after mixing. I can't get the bowl off with the beaters on very easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good mixer and I use it often but the bowl is shorter than my tilt head mixer bowl. As a result the ingredients fly out. I start mixing slow but I am never able to increase to a better speed to get a good mix with my cookie dough. It would be 5stars if the bowl was taller to hold the ingredients in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the purchase. Used to knead dough by hand and it was so tiring and my arms would hurt. Decided to splurge for a Kitchenaid stand mixer a few weeks ago and it works so well. I put the ingredients in, turn on the mixer for less than 10 min and perfectly smooth dough! No effort or watch needed. It is a heavy machine, I recommend setting it at a specific location where you won't have to move everyday. Sound level was not too loud but I was using the mixer on low speed. Very pleased I was able to get the Aqua Sky color.
