I have used it for everything including sausage balls which used to require me to mix by hand. The big bowl easily held all of the ingredients and the flat beater paddle mixed it up in minutes. I love that the bowl lifts up and down. It fit easily on my countertop under the cabinets since the head doesn't have to tilt. Cupcakes and cakes have been a breeze. Excellent choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer because my previous mixer broke due to overheating and not being able to lift the head to remove the bowl.this mixer is much easier to remove the bowl due to the clamp and handle to lift up and down the bowl. Works great so far.

So far it's the best investment I could have made. Saves so much time making bread and it just makes baking fun. Me and the kids love it.

Downsized several years ago and gave my tilt-top Kitchenaid stand mixer to my son. Now that we have more room 8n our house, I definitely needed a stand mixer again and my son said “no way” to passing mine back to me. So I bought a new one in one of the designer colors. It looks great. I purchased a scorpion stand this time and find that I like the tilt top better. At least that's my first impressions. I haven't used it that much yet so I'm still reserving judgement on that. But, at the end of the day, it's a Kitchenaid!

I have owned my one in Indiana for 25 years and use it's grinder on a regular basis to make chicken salad for my grandkids. I couldn't do without my stand mixers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being without one for a few years, I am happy to once again have a KitchenAid at work in my kitchen. The first thing I did was test it with making 4 pounds of bread dough. The machine handled itself beautifully. Next I used the smaller bowl to whip a little bit of cream in. That didn't work as well due to the whisk not being close enough to the bottom. If I had read the user manual first, I would have been aware that the machine might need adjustment for which instructions are given. Problem solved.
