Being a KitchenAid, it is a powerful machine. We made gumbo today and this Food Chopper was the perfect appliance to prepare all of the veggies. They chopped them without pulverizing them. We love this little machine!

Whether it's making sauces, chopping onions or purée, there is nothing that I've thrown at it, that it hasn't handled. There is a drizzle basin at the top which allows you to add smaller items like garlic or drizzle in some add spices or liquids. I'm super impressed with its consistency and power!

My wife personally loves it because she can make her own fresh pesto. It comes put together and it's so simple to use. It's powerful for its size. Sometimes I throw caution to the winds and omit an ingredient. LOL. Now however those days are over. This Kitchenaid is not quite 9 inches tall and 6 inches wide, with a clear polycarbonate plastic bowl. With a 240-watt motor and a wraparound cord. Purees liquids and pastes are a breeze. Truly a chopping champ. The blade is excellent and locks in perfectly. The lid has a drizzle basin, a bonus for adding liquid. My hummus is a delight to make. This 3.5-cup food chopper is used on a daily basis in my kitchen.

It's light enough to take it in and out of a cabinet. Or just leave it on the counter. This works great for smaller meals. Since a full-size food processor is too much work. And I like the matte color. But it would be nice if the instructions told you how to remove the lid. You basically palm the lid and turn it clockwise.

This one is a much better quality and I love it! My first use of it was to chop nuts. I chopped a couple of quart jars filled with nuts within just minutes! My husband likes it so much I think he uses it more than me now! We use it often and for so many things - onions, meats, and more! If I could suggest anything to Kitchenaid, it would be to make it more "lefty-friendly", so the basin and lid/button could go on both sides of the lever. But unfortunately, that is common in many appliances. Anyway, I love this chopper and definitely recommend!

It also can purée and mix. It has a 3.5 cup capacity. It's lightweight and easy to clean. It has two speeds. Pulse or Fine chop. My husband loves it to make fresh salsa. I definitely would recommend this appliance. It's very handy. Lightweight and easy to clean great product.
