[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this before Valentine's Day as I was having a party and needed a chopper that could hold more than my current 1.5 cup chopper as well as allow infusion while it was running (also not possible with my older one). This fit the bill perfectly. - almost. Still haven't figured out how to make it run continuously without having to have my finger on the lid. Maybe it just doesn't work that way although it makes measuring and adding ingredients impossible without the use of both hands. Pre-measuring is the key, I guess. Otherwise, great performance. The chopping speed actually chops without making everything into mush - so nice for tomatoes! The self-storing cord makes stowing nice and tidy. I thought it was a bit expensive for a 2 speed. Great little worker!

It chops up all my veggies in a matter of seconds and has made dinner prep so much easier and faster. I can't imagine life without it now. I literally use it every day and my husband likes using it to make his weekly salsa's. I love how lightweight it is and how little space it requires for storage. It's small but mighty. The cord conveniently wraps around and into the base and I often just leave it on the counter. It is very easy to take apart and clean too. From sauces, puree's, dressings or just chopping veggies, the possibilities are endless! Definitely recommend to all.

It's very easy to open and there is barely any assembly needed before you can happily chop away whatever food you need chopped! It's got a easy manual to read and Instructions are very easy! Clean up is a snap and it's machine washable! Meal prep is much easier with the KitchenAid mini food processor. It is a small food chopper, which makes it easy to store between your pans. Once you get it out, you can use it to cut vegetables like raw onions, carrots and tomatoes for salads (short use of the shopper) or soup (longer use). But also to prepare meat for dog food, or to make powder sugar or chocolate sprinkles. Between all those cutting sessions, you easily clean bowl, lit and knife in the dishwasher. You'll chop, mix, and puree your way to quick creations and fresh options. From KitchenAid. To open the lid. It's done by turning it off, which is a lot different then just trying to tear it off. But, once you figured that out, it's easy to close it. Once closed and attached to electricity, you just put it on by closing the lid with your thumb. Lift your thumb, and it will immediately stop chopping. This makes it easy to dose how small you want your sugar/veggies/meat or chocolate. There is only 1 switch on it: to differ between cutting hard and cutting really hard. I will use this till I cant anymore lol. It's really a good kitchen tool to have!

Have trouble with the blade staying seated and then the lid doesn't close properly and chopper does not operate. When this happens, you have to empty contents and seat the blade again. I, personally do not like that the ON/OFF button is on the handle of the lid. Can't walk away while chopping to do other things; must stay with your hand on the handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the thumb-press control that gives me a lot of control over the machine, and it incorporates ingredients very well. My only concern is that its function is depending on a little plastic piece that gets depressed, and this piece could easily get broken during the cleaning process, which would render the unit useless. This part should be more protected in the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAide food chopper is easy to use, light weight and a lot smaller than other products. It has two settings chopped and purree. However, the chopped is very finely chopped so be aware of then when using. It's also really fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a basic food processor that did not take up half of a cabinet, yet would efficiently cut onions, peppers, chicken, etc for quick recipe preparation. I chose Kitchen Aid because it is a quality brand I trust from other Kitchen Aid appliances I own (dishwasher & mixer). I have not been disappointed!!! I have been very pleased every time I have used it since purchasing a couple of months ago. I knew I would miss the grater, and yes I may have to do two rounds of some ingredients. However, the the smaller bowl quickly clicks back in place after emptying and reloading for additional batches, and the time needed to dice veggies and chicken is very minimal. The space saved by the small bowl and lack of larger attachments is exactly what I wanted. In comparison to other brand displayed in the store, Kitchen Aid seemed sturdier and seemed to easier to assemble. I have no regrets with this purchase.
