I was hesitate to use it on meats as it didn't look like it would be able to handle it; but, I was wrong. It chops up chicken very well. As suggested, I did cut it into smaller chunks. I also cut my fruits into smaller chunks before I puree it. My favorite thing to use with this is chopping garlic. I can keep that in storage for a long time. I like this product for the consistency and simplicity of it. The only minor issue I have is taking it apart to clean and making sure I have the lids on. I think it just takes getting used to. It is dishwasher safe so that is a big bonus. Overall, great kitchen tool and easy storage.

Most important you can clean it up super easy too. I used it last week to make broccoli salad, salsa and zucchini salad. The KitchenAid chopper helps me to prepare healthy meals even on stressful days when I don't have much time. I also love that it does not need a lot of storage, it's small and does not need a lot of assembling as my big blender does. I did had a little bit of trouble removing the lid the first time but now after I figured it out it's super easy. KitchenAid products always look great in my kitchen and last a long time. This little helper is no exception!

The only thing I'm not craze about is the post in the middle for the blade. The post makes it difficult to clean out the cup. My previous chopper, another brand, did not have this.

It is so nice being able to easily grab this, use it and cleanup is a breeze. It looks great and could happily remain on your countertop.

We always had the manual palm pump chopper and this makes cooking and efficiency much better! Easy to use, convenient, and the best chopper I have used or seen. I would recommend. This is a simple food chopper but the input and output is noticeable quality!

Also contributes to me cooking healthier vegetable dishes for the whole family as the Prep is almost done for me.

I USED MY OLD BLENDER TO MAKE HUMMUS, BUT THE MOTOR STARTED SMOKING!! I THINK THIS CHOPPER WILL DO A GREAT JOB WITH GARBANZOS FOR HUMMUS, ALSO BASIL, GARLIC, PARMESAN AND OLIVE OIL FOR PESTO, AND FOR THANKSGIVING I ALWAYS MAKE A DELICIOUS SAUCE WITH CRANBERRY, ONIONS, SOUR CREAM, SUGAR AND HORSERADISH...THIS WILL BE WONDERFUL!!
