Perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is a very convenient for all of your chopping and puree needs in the kitchen. It chops nuts perfectly. No more crying when you have to chop onions either. The chopper is perfect for making baby food purees as well. I love the cord storage! Very nice design!

Great for its size but lacking in its construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we have a smaller apt where space is limited and wanted a chopper. In the times we have used it the functionality has been great. It gets the job done no doubt about that. Where it falls short is the safety measures. By this I am referring to how the bowl and lid attach to the base. It is very easy to bump off of the lock mechanism so we almost have to actively push it to maintain the lock so we can chop. Then the lid, very much the same thing. It just doesn't have a good connection when getting the machine started. My first use of the machine took me literally and extra 5 min just to figure all of this out. Overall it's a decent product for its size but it has its flaws.

Love this food chopper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this food chopper to be more efficient in the kitchen. It did not disappoint! I am able to chop up fruits and vegetables easily for recipes now and have saved so much time. I've even been chopping up nuts for my baking business and able to even make my own natural peanut butter with this chopper. It's super easy and intuitive to use. Taking it apart to clean was a breeze. It also stores nicely in our pantry so I can access it easily. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to save time chopping up food for cooking!

Obsessed in an Understatement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So kitchenaid isn't well known enough for their food processors, which are superior. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this one, because my mom has the large version to make family size portions of salsa and now I have the fun size version for myself. It makes the perfect amount of salsa for one person and does a great job at doing it. 10/10 recommend, especially if you prefer compact items.

Perfect for small stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this chopper is small enough to easily store and still gets the job done. This is the perfect size for small batches of pesto or salsa. I also use it for chopping up fresh parsley, basil, and cilantro. The lid has a a basin that makes it convenient to add liquids, like olive oil. The lid, cup, and blade can all go into the dishwasher for easy clean up.

Highly useful and perfectly sized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a too-large food processor that barely got used with this one that's small enough to keep on the countertop all the time. It chops well and is easy to keep clean. I love the ability to add oil or other liquids with the top on, and it looks great with the matching stand mixer. A great purchase all around!

Love the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used an Oster Mini food processor for the last 25 years, and it became unsafe to use, so I replaced it with this Kitchen Aid. The service was great, delivery on time. My only issue is the lid does not always lock properly, therefore the unit does not work. I end up putting the lid on and taking it off several times for the unit to work.

I love the size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this food processor about a month ago and truly happy to see it in the store. The one I had prior to this one was used constantly. I think I wore it out, so I was happy to find its replacement.

Good for mincing or puree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a lot of good things to like bit also had some drawbacks. The chopper is easy to use, there are two settings, chop and puree, which are self explanatory. Clean up is easy as you can wash the pitcher lid and blade. The drawback is its so small you have to really prechop before using it. For instance if you are going to chop an onion you have to cut it into 8ths to fit in amd chop properly. The other downside is it's hard just to chop something without it ending up minced. Overall it's good if you don't mind have a really finely minced chop or puree.

Great Little Chopper with Little Fuss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little compact KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is a great addition to any kitchen. I think KitchenAid put a lot of thought in the design of this thing. I plan on making my own ground meats from now on; you never know what might be in the store bought stuff. PROS: - 3.5 cup volume is not too big or too small - 3 ft power cord wraps around the base for storage. Anything longer would become a nuisance. - You don't have to stress out about which setting to use; there are only 2, "CHOP" and "PUREE". - There is a drizzle basin on top for you to add liquids to your mix. (It's really helpful when making pesto.) - Quiet motor CONS: - To turn it on, you just hold the handle down with your thumb. I'm afraid after a few uses, it might break or stop toggling. - There is a deep and narrow hole in the middle of the blade piece that food gets into and it's hard to clean without a "bottle brush," which makes cleaning inconvenient.
