For me, 3.5 cups is enough capacity to chop my vegetables for stews, slads and salsa. Is simple and easy to clean up. I spend less time manually chopping foods and, I no longer ave to smell like garlic or onions on my hands. Cuts down on the number of utensils and dishes used for manual chopping. Durable and has a powerful motor that doesn't bog down on harder vegetables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and an artisan 2 weeks ago- best purchase! Til the season for comfort food (beef stew) and soups! And a bit of pizza as well. Making these to chop the onion carrots and celery was a snap! Made home made biscuits to go with the beef stew (and a pizza ;) ). Only reason not complete 5 stars is I found it challenging to reseat the canister to the motor.

I love kitchen aid products. I cant say enough on their products. I had just given my sister my food chopper that I had for 15 yrs since she had a hard time using her hands so I was looking for another one but couldn't find the black and decker one I just gave away so I came across this one. I used it at Christmas time preparing all the goodies. It also has a pulse mode switch my other one didn't

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a larger food processor and love it, but this one has been amazing as well. I used to be the 'onion cutter' in my family because I had contacts and it didn't bother me to give them a little dice. Well about 2 years ago I had corrective eye surgery and no longer have to wear contacts. Cutting onions for the first time was brutal and any time after I try to avoid like the plague. This little chopper has changed it all. It's just the right size and so easy to use. I only have to have onion exposure for a few second while I quarter them and then 'in you go'! It chops them to the perfect consistency and saves me a lot of tears and my family a lot of dramatic belly aching on account of me. Love it!!!
