But I kept coming back to all the times I need one onion chopped or one cup of an ingredient blended. It was hard to bring out the food processor for one little thing. So this holiday season, I caved and bought this appliance. I love it! It is light weight, stores easily and does just a good job as the big processor. I will never be without this food chopper again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is quite powerful. There are two speeds: Chop & Purée. The blade is very sharp and chops everything from nots to herbs seamlessly. There is also a drizzle basin for adding oils & water to the work bowl; the liquids get mixed well. I dislike chopping onions and garlic by hand, this chopper hands the job easily. Everything is also very easy to clean. There is also a cord wrap to aid with storage. I use this unit multiple times per week.

I've also made tarter sauce and banana ice cream in it so far. I don't have a lot of counter space and the size of this isn't too big or too small. It is SO much easier to use than the bigger one I had years ago that kept chipping and breaking. The top slides on and off very easily and I definitely don't feel like it's going to break anytime soon. I truly LOVE THIS! This is my first Kitchen aid appliance and now I'm looking forward to adding another!

I finally decided to get it (persuaded by the amazing price and the color I wanted being in-stock)... and WOW! What a time-saver! This little beauty saved me so much time (literally, hours!) with all my Thanksgiving cooking and baking, and has even helped me expland my recipe repertoire. Don't hesitate to buy this, if you are thinking about it: it is such a quality machine, it's beautiful on my counter, and it is a time-saver!

My life in the kitchen has gotten so much easier having this food processor, I don't know how I ever did without it sooner. I can chop an onion in about 4 seconds, in perfect, uniform pieces. I love that it can chop and puree. It doesn't hold a lot but it's the perfect size for chopping onions, nuts etc. I rarely need a larger one, but I do batches if I make a large amount. I don't know what people are talking about it being difficult to use. You just have to have the lid on properly in order for it to run. It's not difficult to figure out. It's a good safety feature that it doesn't run until the lid is on securely. I just bought another one today, so I can use one for onions and the other for sweet food. I LOVE both my Ice Blue and Empire Red food processors.

At first glance I was sure I would not be using it because it's so small and I usually make big batches of things with my large KA. Then I started using it for small things that I would normally hand chop and voila I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, convenient and my chopping is done in a flash. I have since purchased these as gifts and I get rave reviews.

It's super easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter, or storage space either. The thing we make most is salsa, and it only takes top 2 minutes to chop all the ingredients in this chopper to make about 4 cups of salsa! It's not very loud either. Super easy to clean and not hard to take apart or put back together. If you're looking for something to chop up veggies, make juices, baby food, etc. This is it!

I've made tahini, pesto, cashew cream, salsa, pico de Gallo. Another dope feature is it's not that loud compared to other food processors I've had.

It's small enough to be tucked away into a small spot in my cupboard but it definitely packs some punch! The last thing I made with it was cauliflower rice and I only had to whirl the cauliflower around a few times before it was the perfect consistency. The machine itself seemed to work effortlessly and the cleanup was easy. I also love the vintage "ice blue" colour of the base. I will definitely recommend this to friends in the future.
