luv it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mini chopper about 3 months ago as a gift. At first glance I was sure I would not be using it because it's so small and I usually make big batches of things with my large KA. Then I started using it for small things that I would normally hand chop and voila I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, convenient and my chopping is done in a flash. I have since purchased these as gifts and I get rave reviews.

Cheap Chopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I intended to use the KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Chopper to dice smaller vegetables like onions. When I first opened the box and took the chopper out it felt light. I tried to open the top of it and I struggled to slide and open the lid. When I finally got the lid open, I broke a piece of plastic off the chopper. I can't figure out where that plastic went. The lid feels very cheap like it's made from poor quality components. I wouldn't recommend this to someone that is looking for a chopper since a piece broke off so quickly.

Must have kitchen tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little guy and it is a must have kitchen tool with so many uses!! You will end up using this almost every meal prep to chop and puree anything. Great for chopping onions, peppers, garlic, nuts and other items etc and then can also make things like hummus in there too by pureeing chickpeas. It's a nice size capacity and easy to clean as well. Great little chopper.

Chop, blend and enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchenaid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is an awesome addition to my kitchen appliances. I love how simple it is to open the lid, drop the ingredients for chopping, and chop away by lightly depressing the handle. This small appliance is very stylish and modern and matches my other appliances well in black color. Goes well with stainless as well. It does well chopping onions, peppers, pureeing bananas for banana bread and pretty much anything in need of small fine chopping. This appliance definitely speeds up my slicing time. Best part is that cleanup is a breeze. Dishwasher safe, and very easy to wash in the sink as well. 3.5 cups is large enough for most instances for our family of 5 for quick guacamole or salsa. It has a separate chopper blade that is easily washable after you are done. It's compact enough to put away in most of the kitchen cabinets I have and can easily be stored for later use. It's fairly light as well if needed to move from one location to another which is a big convenience especially when you make multiple dishes.

Love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is so simple to use and easy to clean. It makes chopping fast and you can also purée. I love that it doesn't have too many complicated parts that make you not want to be bothered with it. The only thing is it's a little small but if you work in batches it's not really a problem

Very unhappy

I bought this and registered this late Nov 2021 so I could make homemade mayonnaise. I've only used 4 times over the last 8 weeks and today it began making a really loud noise. Upon inspection I see the blade housing is grinding against the canister.

I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago I bought a full-size food processor thinking it was the answer to all my needs...... has a small, one-speed grinder that had some plastic broken off and I had my head in the sand about any BPAs it might contain, but hadn't found anything that would serve larger quantities and be a brand name......... this is actually the second 3.5 C Food Chopper that I have bought, as I gave a Silver one to my mother a while back and use it at her house. As I make a LOT of sauces, my new RED 3.5 C Food Chopper is not only efficient and quiet, but it has made my work so much easier and fun, and she looks beautiful in my white tile kitchen that has red and silver accents. THANK YOU for the design and quality of the 3.5 C Food Chopper - I recommend it to anyone on the hunt for one.

Great convenient little machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this not too long ago when my previous one went kaput! This is so convenient for me to use because I have a special needs daughter who needs some of her food chopped and I also use it for puree function with other foods. My previous little chopper only had the puree function intact. I think the lever to change the speed is an improvement and possibly will let it work much longer.

One of the worst kitchen devices I have ever exp

This was a gift to replace a small food processor I had. Don't remember brand or model. This procduct is such a disappoint. Assembling the cup and cover in order to activate this devise is so far beyond intuitive it should not be sold. It also has only chop and purée selections. Could deal with only chop/purée if only getting this item to operate was intuitive. Frustration level is too high to bother using.

Broke after first use

I bought this and after the first use, I removed the blade and put it back into the bowl for cleaning. However, it became stuck between the side of the bowl and the middle sheath. I could not remove it, and it ended up breaking the bowl. I would recommend not purchasing the product. I missed the window to return the product by 2 days (30 days for refund) due to a 10 day trip, and the company wouldn't let me return it.
