It is very compact and has a powerful motor/sharp blades which puree in a few seconds. Thank you for a beautiful, powerful, and compact KitchenAid product.

Somewhat difficult to figure out how to assemble the first time, and manual didn't help; ok once you know.

But it's actually perfect!! Its size makes it easy to store and it isn't a hassle to use! It is also super quiet! I love how the power cord wraps into the bottom of it!

I also have the 5qt stand mixer in same color-Empire Red. My husband bought it at WalMart & a little bit cheaper there than at other places. I was able to chop onions, celery and carrots in no time and it was fun. I made soup immediately. This is the perfect chopper for salsa, soups, dips, hummus, there are endless options. So easy to set-up and you can start using it immediately. I absolutely adore it and use it on a daily basis now.

I had a manual food chopper and I cannot believe how much I have been missing out on. I use this everyday to make my sons Purees. Its super easy to put together and take apart to clean. The blades have seemed to stay sharp with no issues overtime either. Its big but not to big and fits right in the cupboard for easy access. All i got to say is if you have an infant on purees BUY this today you will not regret it. Happy Chopping.

It is the perfect size for those items!!

Whether it's making sauces, chopping onions or purée, there is nothing that I've thrown at it, that it hasn't handled. There is a drizzle basin at the top which allows you to add smaller items like garlic or drizzle in some add spices or liquids. I'm super impressed with its consistency and power!
