The peeler blade is supposed to snap into the arm but it is only held in place by a flimsy lever. You remove the peeler blade by depressing the lever. However, the lever is so flimsy that it bends easily when you depress it, which results in the peeler blade not locking at all. The fix is fairly easy but you have to remove the lever and bend it back into position. Even then, the peeler blade may not "click" into place and requires that you push up on the lever. The remainder of the blades attach in a different fashion and are fine.

Next was hash browns for breakfast, spiralized in advace and frozen - what a treat, so easy. I tried both grilled under the broiler and cooked in a waffle iron - definitely would go for the broiler!!

Ok so I have always wanted to make zoodles (zucchini) since they became popular and I realized they were delicious but I never wanted to spend the time to actually spiralize them. This gadget works like a CHARM. Its study, efficient and so user friendly! It has singlehandedly expanded what I can do in the kitchen and it simultaneously cuts the preparation time in half. Literally its like having a sous chef in the kitchen with me. Definitely recommend this product!! ps. it doesn't hurt that its got a great finish to it and looks good in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the spiralizer for Christmas and I have used it 9 times. It is so easy, sturdy and convenient. It makes spiralizing so easy. My Zucchini, apples or whatever I am using it for comes out perfect every time. I don't know how I ever lived without this tool.

I'm embarrassed to say I bought this three years ago and just now tried it out. I put it off because I thought it would be complicated. Watch 2 minutes of a YouTube video on it and you'll be cruising. It is so easy, so efficient, and I am so excited for the possibilities. If you also make green drinks, the discards from zucchini, carrots, apples, beets - anything but potatoes - can be used for that. The noodles have come out great. I don't know if some folks zucchini's are huge, but this works fantastic with small and medium sized. I'm looking forward to the fresh meal possibilities.

I bought this for myself for Christmas, so I could eat healthier. I finally decided to take it out and play with it today. Everything worked great. Then when I was going to demonstrate it to my son the peeler wouldn't lock back into place. :( I watched all of the videos, which I would recommend. I definitely would have given 5 stars if the peeler attachment worked.

Got this for Christmas and the first time I used it it worked like a champ. The next time I used it the peeler would not click into place, the mechanism was bent out of shape after one use. My husband was able to bend the lower arm to get it to lock. I don't see this lever piece working very well, it needs to be stronger in order to lock every time.

This was my early Christmas present to myself, and I just love it. Have used it almost everyday. Way better than my little white plastic model I got at WS. I have so much fun using it. I looked online and downloaded the KitchenAid Spiralizer Cookbook and printed it out have been making something from it almost everyday. KitchenAid you out don yourself on this product. I just have to say stop making attachments I have bought all of them so far and love them all.
