[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it for the first time yesterday, wanting to make applesauce, and I used the peeler attachment. After the second Apple, the attachment would not advance on the rod that pushes it to the product. I took a video but I do not have YouTube video available to me, so I cannot share what it was doing. It was clicking on the advance rod, and not moving forward. So I had to cut and peel all of the apples by hand. I did all of the things that you would normally do, take it off put it back on, remove the whole unit from the machine, and then reinstall it, but it's not working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My friend and I just cored, peeled, and sliced 180 pounds of fresh picked apples and this worked so smoothly! It sure beat the hand crank contraption I have used in the past, so my shoulder thanks my husband for the great birthday gift. The only snag was quickly remedied when I found (online, not in the manual) that vegetable oil should be used on the slide if it gets stiff/stuck.

There are so many recipes out there for the veggie noodles that I can't wait to discover which ones I can do well that I can serve even when the grandkids are here that everyone will eat.

I was so excited to get this, until I actually used it. The part that holds the food is a metal spear with a plastic base. The metal spear kept breaking out of the plastic, and the plastic prongs are not long enough to actually grip the food. The result was the food turned to mush, continued to rotate, and the metal spear became lodged in the center of my food. I wish I had listened to the other poor reviews and never bought this product.

I just received my Spiralizer and put it to work. It takes a few tries to get it right. My only complaint is one of the Spiralizer blades is bent. I hope The folks at KitchenAid will replace it. Looking forward to making many healthy meals using the spiralizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get this as we use a lot of zucchini and vegis. I thought it would be able to take a full size zuchi or egg plant and it can't. So I am disappointed at how much I have to cut off. I really would not have gotten this if I would have known that and rather purchased another add on for processing things.

I LOVE the spiralizer and never put it away because I use it almost every day! BUT I agree with the other reviewer that the skewer that holds the fruit or veg needs to be larger tha 1 1/2". The Inspiralizer is 2 1/2" and is able to handle melons, cabbage, butternut squash much better! Please make a new and LARGER skewer

This is a great addition to your kitchen aid! Instead of buying a flimsy spiralizer that's going to break, buy this accessory that will last you a long time. I've already started eating so much healthier since I brought this. (I wrote this review as part of a contest)

I've used this several times and it's worked to perfection every time. I read some reviews about it being flimsy or just not working correctly. To those I would encourage to watch the videos posted to insure you're using it correctly and to be gentle with the parts.
