Rawhides very thin. Was afraid my dog could choke wished was a little thicker.

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.  MY 3 DOGS love chew sticks like these that have wrapped meat on the.  When I opened this pkg., I noticed it smelled like CHEMICALS.  Reluctantly I gave one to the dog to see what they'd do.. All 3 sniffed it and did not eat it.  Am returning it to Sams.   Note: This product comes from MEXICO.

Smelled like chemicals

We purchase this product regularly. We have six dogs and and have learned that caring for that many requires having a routine. They soon learn what to expect and seem to thrive on knowing what is supposed to happen.  They will actually "remind us" when its time for dinner, chews, etc.. This product has proven to be  a good alternative to giving them the larger rawhide chews and they seem to prefer this one over other brands we have tried.  We have two aggressive chewers who still get a portion of the larger chews (my husband uses a skill saw to cut the larger ones in three pieces) but they also get one of the chicken wrapped smaller chews as well and seem to prefer it. The other four get the smaller chicken wrapped chews and are always excited when we pass them out about an hour after dinner. Having the chews seems to calm them down.
