These rawhides are too brittle and will make an absolute mess if eaten in the house. They should come packaged with a vacuum cleaner! Bone shards will be everywhere. I would also question possible heath issues if all these broken pieces are ingested that may become lodged. I too liked the old rawhides and purchased on a regular basis but for these bones, they are no longer on my list. Bring back the ones in the blue bag!

These bones are not great quality. My dog is a heavy chewer and only chews rawhides. This sounds like plastic, leaves bits and pieces everywhere, and doesn't last a day. A typical bone or rawhide stick will typically last him 1-2 weeks. I do not recommend these bones.

The old Sams Club brand rawhides were great, the dogs loved them their cost was very reasonable. This new brand they have moved to break apart into hundreds of small shards. I have only tested two bags from the same lot, and perhaps a different lot will hold up better. The ones that I have bought were eaten in 10-15 minutes and left about half the bone on the ground in dozens of pieces for the vacuum cleaner to "devour" and not the dog.

These are the best Rawhides they don't splinter and my dog loves them.We usually buy them at the store but all of a sudden it's like find a pot of gold if they have them.these are a must have in my home my husky Jack loves these things and it keeps him out of trouble

These are great chews and my dog absolutely loves them! They’re high quality, all-natural, and keep him happily occupied. What I really miss, though, is being able to buy them in the warehouse. It was so nice and convenient having them available all the time when I shopped in-store. I hate having to spend $50 just to get free shipping when I run out. Bringing these back to the warehouse would be amazing and make things so much easier for regular customers like me. Highly recommend the product—just wish they were back in stores!

The previous "Blue Bag" rawhides were GREAT!!! They lasted the day, held up, and DIDN"T MAKE A MESS!!! These NEW Red Bag rawhides not only break apart in minutes, leaving a HUGE MESS, and getting stuck in the carpet and almost impossible to remove, but the new rawhides give me dog horrible gas. It may be because the produce is cheaper, or it could be since the product breaks apart, dogs are swallowing pieces WHOLE, and having a difficult time digesting them. Either way, Sam's would be better off to keep the OLD rawhides and up the price a few dollars if needed.

These bones are NOT MESSY. Pieces break off easily but do not "make a mess." These bones are EASY TO DIGEST and will break off easier because they are BETTER for your dogs health. The rawhide bones that seem to last forever are packed with chemicals and preservatives and could block your dogs intestinal tract and make your furry friend VERY ILL! No, these bones don't last a lifetime, Yes, they do break apart rather easy compared to other brands.. BUT IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER FOR YOUR DOG, NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE BAD QUALITY. My dog loves them, any "long lasting" chemically enhanced rawhide gives my dog diarrhea.

I'm not sure what's up with these treats. My dog usually eats EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. Even vegetables. There's not a single thing he won't eat, except for these. I'll throw him a bone and he'll just sniff it and looks back at me. I come back a day later, and it's still laying around in it's entirety.

The raw hides are thicker and harder than normal raw hides you’d find in grocery or pet specialty stores. My large dog has lost interest in them after attempting to chew on a couple of them. In fact he may have chipped one of his teeth biting on these!

I ordered 2 orders of this (8 packs of 4=32 raw hides total) they sent me 2 packs for a total 8 raw hides. I called them and they reordered them, and again only got 2 packs, called two more times and was told they will get back to me, two weeks now and no call back. Do not buy they can't count to 8 packs.
