I have many other can openers In the past most of them broke or did not last long. I have read pros and cons about Cuisinart opener , I decided to buy one and It was the best opener so far lt looked very well built and easy to clean, I have used this opener all most every day without any problems what’s so ever. I recommend Cuisinart opener to every one.

Didn’t have very long and the lever mechanism broke inside. This is a very heavy can opener and works great, but I don’t understand why they didn’t make the lever gear out of metal. This opener is a little expensive for being just an opener so I think that could have been a little better.

I can not recommend this can opener to anyone. After a relatively mild use the can opener stopped working. The motor worked fine but the cutting mechanism would no longer opens cans. From what I understand the cheapest version of this can opener works better than this high end version

We like this can opener, looks nice on our counter with our stainless Steel appliances. The ONLY thing that is annoying, is the blade handle thingy, comes off when I pull the can away. Other than that, it does its job. Can does not fall off the holder.

First automatic can opener the family has ever had. Came as a package paired with the toaster we wanted. I was immediately impressed by the heft and quality of construction. Very solid and nice features such as a powerful magnet to hold the can in place, an easy to remove and clean handle, and magnet to capture the lid. Works extremly well for any regular sized can. Very happy with this part of the purchase.

I have owned this for a couple of years and it continues to perform well. There is a minor flaw that needs to be addressed but other than that this is the best electric can opener ever. It is heavy duty and made very well. Now to the flaw. The arm lever that activates the power does not have a stop point. You can easily push down and the can opener may stop are not work correctly. I had the part replaced under warranty to only discover it is not the part but the design of the on off button. I simply applied a felt pad to the back of the lever. This gives the on off button a thicker and wider surface to contact. Problem solved.

In addition to flawless operation in opening cans, the ability to easily remove the lever/magnet/cutter assembly makes cleaning (when necessary) quick and easy. The overall height and weight make opening even the largest, heaviest containers effortless, without fear of the whole works tipping over. The stainless steel housing also compliments my other steel/nickel kitchen accessories. Who doesn't like shiny things?

I am extremely pleased with this electric can opener. It has a strong motor and a powerful sharp tooth to easily pierce the lid of the can. I use it every day to feed my dogs. I have previously owned many other name brands which have not stood the test of time. I think I got lucky with the purchase of my new Cuisinart Deluxe Stainless Steel Can Opener. It looks elegant, runs smooth, and effortless to use. I know it will by far outlast all the other brand names put together that I've used over the years. It's a high quality unit and I love it. Worst piece of junk ever. Not even close to Cuisinart standards. I bought this a month ago and I have returned it twice for malfunctioning. The blade mechanism falls off constantly, sometimes mid way through opening a can which makes for a huge mess. I read bad reviews and didn’t listen. Don’t put yourself through the same aggravation. Avoid at all costs!!!

My daughter bought this opener for me as a Christmas present. I have carpal tunnel in my hand and it was getting difficult to use the manual opener. I love how compact and sleek it is, fits right on my counter inbetween my blender and Keurig coffee machine, and it requires no effort to use. Would definitely recommend this opener, makes life easier!
