I bought this a month ago and am enjoying using it very much. It opens cans so quickly and easily. Also I love that the cutting part is easily removed for cleaning. Other can openers don’t allow the cutting edge to be removed and they always seemed difficult to wipe off and eventually got rusty.

I have a hard time opening cans. It doesn’t always grab on the can the right way as it grabs the paper on the can and then won’t spin to open. Once I get the paper pulled away it is ok. I’m still happy with it as I have been diagnosed with authoritis in my hand and it was hard using a manual. I chose Cusinnart because I have purchased other Cusinart small appliances and have been pleased plus the stainless look fits right in my kitchen!

Really like this quiet and heavier opener! Looks high end with the stainless exterior- I don’t mind it on my counter. My only dislike is the early release once in awhile on a heavier can- about 28 oz. But after the first time one dropped and made a mess- I always have my hand ready underneath any large cans.

I had a previous model of the Cuisinart electric can opener. It still works, but I like the new design better and went ahead and splurged. The new one has a larger base which makes it more stable . This one holds the can after opening just like my older one. You can’t go wrong with a Cuisinart product.

It is an excellent can opener. I have arthritis in both hands so this can opener is so easy to use. The fact that it had a weighted base and will not tip over and handles large heavy cans is such a plus. Cuisinart is such a trusted brand. I have used your food processor for over 35 years and it is still going strong. I believe in buying quality products and this one is great!!!!!

So far, It's been a perfectly good can opener. My beef is with the Cuisinart coffee grinder I purchased summer 2020. It broke down after little more than a year. While I am a little leery of Cuisinart quality at this point, the other available product looked inferior.

I found this can opener very hard to open cans. You have to get it just under the tabs to get it to work & then it still requires multiple tries to open cans. The last straw was trying to open 2 cans of tuna. It shredded the paper wrap on the cans & only partly opened each can. I had to finish off using a hand held can opener. I'm very disappointed in this appliance that is a well known brand. Needless to say I will be returning this can opener.

Finally, over the years tried many, manual and electric, cutting blades kept getting shorter. Bad Can manufactures and shorter blades made for several runs to get missed cut areas. Then the other annoyance, the Magnet, spring loaded, when you finally got the lid cut, the Magnet spring was so strong and poor design it popped and Juice, sauce all over the place. The Stainless looks and works great!
