We have been buying this coffee since one the first bags went on the shelf at Sam's. The manufactuer was there doing a sampleling. One small cup and we were converted. The coffee is rich and has the best flavor. When I have to drink other brands, my day is nver the same.

We have used a ton of beans from all over, even local commercial roasters in large cities. A built in Miele coffee system grinds and brews our product, when it is working (Do not ever buy one, as they love service calls). As a back up is a Keurig Vue 700, that has been discontinued. Having a Bunn commercial grinder, we use the kv2 cup to use our own grind. The Pablo’s Pride puts out the perfect cup. Buy this bean, as you will not be disappointed.

I am a bit of an espresso nut, and I am constantly looking for an acceptable coffee to have in bulk, especially for parties where I could be cranking out 20-30 shots of espresso. Being from Louisiana, I always gave Community Coffee the first chance, but after finishing a number of bags disappointed, I decided to give Pablo's Pride a try. To say I was shocked is honestly an understatement. You absolutely will not find a better espresso bean for the price. It's definitely on the darker end of the roasting spectrum (for my tastes) but has a very classic roasty, warm flavor, and it has some of the most crema from any pure arabica coffee I've ever seen.

I will say that I appreciate that these are single origin beans at a reasonable price, however, the beans are over roasted, making them excessively oily. There was so much oil that it clogged my burr grinder. After a few tries, I just gave up. I also didn’t care for the taste, but that’s personal preference. If you use a Breville Grind Control coffee maker like I do, or something similar, I’d suggest a medium roast that doesn’t have too much oil excreted already.

I've had alot of different roasts from big box stores (mweh), grocery stores (mweh), boutique grocery stores (50/50 great or ok), and local roasters (always quality and just in the realm of taste preference). These beans are on par with what I typically get from local roasters.

We always drank Starbucks Pike Place for years. When the price started climbing every few visits we decided to try Pablo's Pride because of the much lower price. My husband's idea not mine. I cringed. Let me tell you this is every bit as good if not better. Over the years I have found myself wanting my coffee stronger and stronger but it would turn out bitter. Not Pablo's. Always smooth no matter how strong I make it. I love this stuff and the price!!

This is my go to coffee everyday and has been for years. As such I have ordered hundreds of bags and drank thousands of cup of it. It represents the best value for my pallette that I could find. The flavor profile can be inconsistent and varies slightly by bag. Sometimes over roasted, the flavor can become one note. The majority of the product is just right and retains rich bean flavor, however. Even when getting a darker roasted bag, the flavor is still better than most competitors in this pricing tier who mostly are selling charcoal what once beans. I'm not sure if it is a roasting problem or a blending problem, but if they could get the flavor more reliable and keep it in the medium roasted range it would be 5 stars all day.

I really wanted to like this coffee because of the reduced acid. The beans, first off, didn't have that coffee smell. The coffee looked like tea....very weak. I tried using more coffee and the strong setting..just no taste. Unless you happen to like weak coffee...pass this by and save your money

I was concerned because this coffee is pretty inexpensive but...I'm glad I bought it. I personally like this better than Starbucks, Green Mountain, 8 O Clock and a few others. The aroma is deeper and the flavor is more pronounced. No bitterness ( Starbucks uh huh I'm talking to you) in the after-taste. The best thing is that I use less in my Keurig which, of course, extends the already great value of these java beans. I highly recommend at least trying this coffee. It's strong so you need to adjust your grind. The finer the grind, the deeper the flavor profile.

Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and price. We grind our beans and use them for cold brew. Wish Sam's inventoried the 5lb Decaf since we need to purchase this elsewhere as we use both the regular and decaf and would purchase both in 5 lb bags if Sam's stocked those items. Sam's is our vendor of choice for the products they stock.
