I am a coffee snob! I admit it! lol This is the only coffee I've had in my house the last 3 years with the exception of Jamacian Blue Mountain that we brought back from Jamaica. Pablo's Pride beats it to pieces!! It's the BEST coffee in the world! Love it!

The coffee is good, the price is unbeatable. This is a great bargain overall. I give it 4 stars due to the value. It's not the best coffee you'll ever drink but it is good. Nice, dark, oily beans that aren't over roasted and bitter. Much better than average run of the mill coffee, and when you factor in the fantastic price, it's hard to beat and gets 4 stars.

This coffee is one of the best I’ve had. For those who have said it is on the weaker side you need to slow your brew down. I have not found a better roasted coffee for the price. We are Starbucks House coffee drinkers because of the consistency in flavor but this coffee compares extremely well and has surprised us with its flavor. I really enjoy every cup and look forward to trying it in my new espresso machine when it arrives in a few days. I highly recommend it!

Just getting ready to stock up on this coffee again. I have a Jura that goes from grinding beans to pouring a great cup of coffee. I have it set on robust and I get a perfect cup every time. The next major plus is the low acid level. Since this coffee was unavailable the last time I went to Sam’s, I purchased the house brand…the acid level had me reaching for my antacid.

We have used a ton of beans from all over, even local commercial roasters in large cities. A built in Miele coffee system grinds and brews our product, when it is working (Do not ever buy one, as they love service calls). As a back up is a Keurig Vue 700, that has been discontinued. Having a Bunn commercial grinder, we use the kv2 cup to use our own grind. The Pablo’s Pride puts out the perfect cup. Buy this bean, as you will not be disappointed.

I typically roast my own coffee, but it's an outdoor activity and non-stop rain, heat, and humidity have made that tough this summer. I haven't had a magical coffee fairy offer up a smokeless coffee roaster yet (joking), so I'm back to drinking coffee others roast. This one isn't bad. It's low-acidity which is great when age is wearing down the enamel on your teeth. It's rich and smooth. No bitterness at all. I really enjoy it and the price is fantastic. I've loved it cold brew style too. I use a burr grinder, oatmilk half and half, and a splash of Sweet Cream SuperCreamer for a touch of sweetness.

We love this coffee. I would rate is as a medium roast coffee. There is NO bitterness-very smooth. We usually like a darker roast coffee but most come with a bitter or sour taste. We can use less cream and sugar because its so smooth. We also like the Sams Brand Espresso roast but they stopped carrying it in our store. Blending this with a dark roast might work well.

The smell of the beans was amazing but I'm used to a more robust full bodied dark roast coffee. It lacked taste and body unlike my San Francisco Bay French Roast coffee. I'll try to grind the coffee beans finer as one reviewer said and see what I come up with but as for buying again, I don't recommend it for people who want a full body flavor. There's just something missing.

I will say that I appreciate that these are single origin beans at a reasonable price, however, the beans are over roasted, making them excessively oily. There was so much oil that it clogged my burr grinder. After a few tries, I just gave up. I also didn’t care for the taste, but that’s personal preference. If you use a Breville Grind Control coffee maker like I do, or something similar, I’d suggest a medium roast that doesn’t have too much oil excreted already.

Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and price. We grind our beans and use them for cold brew. Wish Sam's inventoried the 5lb Decaf since we need to purchase this elsewhere as we use both the regular and decaf and would purchase both in 5 lb bags if Sam's stocked those items. Sam's is our vendor of choice for the products they stock.
