So good!

This is by far THE BEST coffee we have ever had! My wife refuses to drink anything else after having this do to its none existent acidity level. It does not level a bitter taste in your mouth. We love having freshly ground coffee every morning, almost to point of addiction. We find it popular at our local Sam's Clubs, so we stock up on it as not to run out or it being discontinued. Slight sweetness to the taste, so this is the first coffee my wife drinks straight black out the pot. Highly recommend!! Only thing that has comes close is Illy's coffee we had at Siegel's 1941 restaurant at the El Cortez in Vegas or Community chickory flavor coffee. Enjoy!

I'm a coffee drinker for 30 years. I drink 1 cup in the morning and I want it to be strong, not bitter, tasty, and aromatic. If you only have one, you want it to be a good one. This is the best coffee I've had, and to get it at this price is amazing. Dunkin Donuts coffee is the next best, IMHO, but this costs less and has, I think, a bit more flavor. You have go - no, you GET to - grind this yourself, but that gives you a wonderful, fresh flavor that is worth the minute or two to grind it each day. I sent some to coffee-holic friends up in Starbucks country (Oregon/Washington) who drink 20 cups a day, and it has become their favorite.

Been buying Pablo's pride for years. Great taste and reasonably priced. But it's gone up in price by $4 and my store doesn't stock it anymore so I have to order it. Even with my Plus membership they want $8 to ship it. Almost double what it used to be. Five stars for Pablo's Pride, one star for Sam's.

I am so delighted to have found this coffee! It is smooth, mellow and delicious and has become my favorite now. I'm also very picky. I currently have two other "pricey, top of the line" choices here at home but I've been ignoring them since discovering Pablo's beans. Great price and I'm going to get back to the store and buy a couple more bags as I'm afraid of not being able to get it now that I've found it. Thanks Pablo and Family! Great product.

Sam's doesn't carry a good quality DARK ROAST/FRENCH ROAST whole bean coffee reasonably priced -- this is it. It's good, but not AS GOOD as Walmart's brand French Roast K-Cup or Costco's San Francisco Bay's French Roast. Sam's needs to carry a quality, dark roast, French roast whole bean coffee priced better than Starbuck's overpriced one.

I was hoping it would be good, but it is the opposite of robust. I bought beans thinking it would give me a fresh, aromatic grind, but it doesn't even have a very strong aroma. If this is Pablo's best, I hope he doesn't quit his day job. I like to give new coffee's a shot and have found some really cups doing so. This is not one of them and I won't be buying it again.

We bought this brand to give it a test and now we seek it out. We like coffee many ways; Cold Press, French Press, Aero Press and we have an entry level espresso machine and this Don Pablo Guatemala is Fantastic! We also did a taste test against a $20/pound bag of Hawaiian Kona whole beans and the Kona could not touch the Don Pablo for Bean color, Aroma, brewed taste, get this and grind it yourself for the freshest and tastiest cup of coffee that you will be proud to serve.

Terrible coffee. I usually buy Member's Mark or CopperMoon, but gave this a try because of its description and pricepoint. We drink a lot of coffee and this we have to choke down. It gave my wife heartburn and its flavor is awful. Never going to buy this again.

Let me tell you, I'm a hardcore coffee fan. I hand grind my beans in a conical burr grinder. I measure my water temperature with an HDE Temperature Gun Infrared Thermometer w/ Laser Sight to the proper 175 degrees Fahrenheit, then I patiently push that water through my grounds with an Aeropress. I've had coffee at all price ranges. After trying Pablo's Pride, perhaps the least expensive you can find retail, I know cost is not the factor in quality of flavor. Pablo's Pride is exceptional coffee. Aside: One night, my wife and I were heading to a party and didn't have time to stop by Sam's, an hour away. We were running out of Pablo's Pride, so I decided to get some buy some beans from one of those fancy organic grocery stores while we were there. I bought the most expensive Kenyan beans. The description said it was bold, not for the faint of heart and at $15/lb, they were right. That coffee was highly acidic and turned sour before I finished my first cup. The taste was flat and unexciting. Pablo's Pride however, at the other end of the price scale, is bold and delicious with long lasting full flavor and none of the sourness at the end. I brew three days worth at a time and the first cup is just as good as the last cup. I drink about 2-3 cups a day. I experiment regularly with different coffees (all whole bean), here's how I rank them: $7/lb Folgers Gourmet (not good) $14.99/lb Kenyan from a high end grocery chain 8 o'clock (pretty good IMO) Starbucks Brand, various blends (all good) Pablo's Pride (excellent) Incidentally, I bought this coffee after searching the web on my cell phone for "best Sam's Club Coffee." Pablo's Pride had the best recommendation and I'm so glad I took the chance. It's a spectacular value and a great flavor. Next time I'm at the store, I may get 2 or three bags to last.
