Once I received my 18 inch smart base I was a little skeptical . Because it didn't look strong enough to me . But I was surprised by the strength of it . I like how it brings more height to my mattress and plenty of storage underneath . sometimes I find myself just looking underneath to make sure it's ok . Excellent work and it doesn't make any noise . Thank you so much and I am impressed by you workmanship and your 5 yr warranty . You definitely have manufactured a excellent product . Keep up the good work .

I’m in love with my new mattress and frame. I purchased the green tea and 18” frame. First it was SO easy to put together, second it looks fabulous, and third I haven’t slept this good in ten years! I love how high the bed is with the frame (I’m 5’11”) and how much storage I can place underneath. I’ll be a customer for life!

Love that it’s not squeaky. Love the storage space. BUT I wish it would be a little lower in height. I bought it bc one of the pictures looks like it would be adjustable height. I literally have to climb to get on. Just wondering how this will work when I’m older.

This bed frame is awesome! Easy to put together. I have to admit, the bed is way high! Need a step stool to get on bed. Didn't think it would be so high. I do love it but not good for someone who is handicap as I am but there is plenty of storage room for my underbed draws and containers. I would send back for a lower frame but I decided to keep it as I ordered all new bedding and bed skirt for it and it does look beautiful! I highly recommend! PS. My poor dog hates it LOL as she can not jump on and off the bed now without my help.

At first I loved this frame. I reviewed it before “my frame soulmate” But it’s been 9 months since and it’s not so perfect anymore. It’s supposed to withstand 4400 lbs and yes I’m fat but not anywhere near that haha. It makes a lot of noise.. some of the screws are literally bent. The legs at the bottom were completely folded almost I was about to eat sht if I hadn’t moved my mattress in time and saw it. All in all it was good while it lasted but it didn’t even make it to our one year anniversary

My first impression of the Gene Metal Deluxe 16 Inch SmartBase Frame before putting it together, it seemed like it would be flimsy. The metal pieces are not heavy. After putting it together, it still seemed like it would not be that sturdy. I like the overall look of the frame. After placing the mattress on the frame it seemed like it was better. I still feel that it is not a top quality frame bed. It can easily move or shift with the mattress on it. Once the bedding, headboard and all the pillows are on the bed, it looks good. I do not think it shifts once sleeping in the bed. However, it will shift when trying to make the bed. The height of the bed lends itself to putting storage underneath. This is a great feature of the bed frame to be able to store additional items in storage containers that can be pulled out as needed.

My Zinus mattress is firm but still cradles you ever so slightly. Your body sinks in a 1/2 inch or so. So far, I love it. I also bought the extra tall bed frame. I have tons of storage under the bed. I understand Zinus has a good return policy. I won’t be using it but give their mattresses a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Used to be a side sleeper and woke up stiff a lot, usually in the shoulders. Old bed was too jacked up to try sleeping on my back. Zinus changed that, the 8 inch is soft but firm enough for me to lay flat on my back and wake up without any soreness at all!

The 18” premium frame is fantastic. It’s solid, silent, and super easy to set up. The extra room underneath provides tons of storage space. However, I’ve found that as there is nothing like a lip, or edge around the perimeter of the frame, my mattress slides around, and I’m having to push my mattress back into place every day. Otherwise, this was a fantastic purchase.

I purchased the 18 inch premium smartbase deluxe platform mattress foundation. I have been sleeping on it for about a week now and absolutely love it. It is solid and makes no noise. My storage tubs fit nicely under my bed and they are 15 inches tall. Great value!
